Not yet - it's OVERTIME in game 7 boys and girls.

The best team of the past decade and a half versus the best team of the past season in game 7 in overtime - that's getting your money's worth!

And by the way ig, that's what HEROES do: they OVERachieve (unlike BUMS, who COLLAPSE).

Hawks had the game right there on that BLAST! The refs better hope the Hawks win this in OT or they may not make it out of Chi-Town alive tonight. I am never one to talk much about the refs but man, with a game like this where winner take all, you just cannot make a horrible call like that....

OT - 7 game now this is super !
It's like both teams never gave up.

Hawks didn't, coming back 3-1 and Wings didn't by getting this goal in 2nd and making the playoffs in the last games of the season.

I have big respect for both teams but the Blackhawks deserved that after the hosing they took from the ref in the final minutes of the 3rd. Great series, wow!! LA vs Chi should be amazing too.

One thing I can't wrap my head around is the NHL schedule for the Conference Finals!! WTF are they thinking putting games 6 & 7 on back to back nights in both conferences? This is the most asinine thing I've ever seen and makes no sense to me at all!!!

Both WC teams went 7 games yet they play their first 2 games on Saturday & Sunday when the EC teams got a big rest and play every other day until the last 2 games. NHL blew that one in my opinion.

Wow this one was incredible !
Even though there wasn't much goals, it was a tight 7 games.

Can't wait to see what's next with LA and also the one with Pens vs. Bruins !

Well, it could have had a happier ending but hats off to the Hawks. They were the better team and deserved the win.

As for Detroit, the "overachievers" showed what the pride, determination, guts, and downright MAJESTY of hockey heroics are all about. This a franchise that never rolls over and plays dead. This is a franchise that has not only a storied past and a heroic present but also a magnificent future. This is a franchise that anyone who knows anything about hockey HAS to respect.

Very classy post by a very classy fan of the very classy toronto maple leafs, who very classily exited from the playoffs in round one after very classily converting a 4-1 lead into a 5-4 loss.

Althoug I'd prefer Hawks vs. Pens in finals this year, it would be funny to see Bruins vs. LA !

Anyway, so far these playoffs have been great despite Habs not moving on, thanks to both Detroit and TO.
