One reason why the Rangers are having success and especially winning in Philly is they are no longer pussies in Philadelphia like in the past. Just watch this fight between Matt Rempe, a 6'7", 21 year old rookie on the Rangers, and the thug Nicolas Deslauriers of the Flyers. Lots of good punches landed, but Rempe wins the fight and sends Nic to the penalty box with a bloody forehead, also sending the message to these goons that the Rangers are not to be fucked with!!!!!!! The fight ended when the pummeled Deslauriers pulled Rempe's jersey over his head and yanked him down to stop the assault:
“He asked me in warmups,” Rempe said. “He's a real tough customer and said, ‘Let’s go.' It was a great fight. We were throwing bombs. It got the juices flowing, and it was unreal."

In case anyone is wondering, Rempe-Deslauriers II, the rematch, could happen on March 26 when the Flyers come to Madison Square Garden.

Another good Matt Rempe fight today and he now has 32 penalty minutes in less than 15 minutes ice time (which is incredible!) but today Olivier won the fight and CBJ won the game, snapping the Rangers 10 game winning streak. But Rempe will be back, he is new to the league and still learning how to fight the NHL level goons:

I don’t think Rempe will last very long in the league. He takes too many power punches while his own hits seem to lack power.

Some prefer fight stats, maybe that's why. Ha!Ha!

The "Hockey Canada 5" are getting a jury trial in Superior rather than Provincial Court. Not sure what the difference is but Superior sounds like a more local court and local jury. Trial date has not been set yet:

As it is a criminal case it is FEDERAL JURIDICTION/SUPERIOR CORTÉ

Ah.....in Connecticut the "superior court" is the lowest state court. The federal courts are "U.S. District Court." I always thought it ironic that the "Superior Court" is the state trial court, which is not "superior" to the Appellate Court, the Supreme Court or the U.S. District Court. The only court the Superior Court in CT is superior to is the Probate Court, for which it functions as the Appellate Court, and assorted administrative tribunals.

It's not clear to me why all crimes in Canada are prosecuted in federal court. In the U.S., it's only interstate crime that gets prosecuted in the federal courts, and/or violations of federal law. Intrastate crimes violating state laws get prosecuted in state courts.

Not really, the superior courts are the highest provincial courts and therefore the third level of the federal system:

Especially for a team doing so well. Bettman claims the Jets will not be moved, will see what happens.
Bettman said the fans have to come to the games. He believes his own exhortations will improve attendance:

Rangers retaliate against Columbus! Behind 2 goals and an assist from Panarin (82 points on the season) and another stellar performance by Igor Shesterkin (31 saves, .968 save%), the Rangers had their revenge against CBJ last night 4-1. Matt Rempe did not rematch Olivier (still has a black eye from their last fight), but did have an impressive 4 hits in 7 minutes of ice time, while not being called for any penalties, meaning all 4 hits were legal:

Agree....et je dis qu'il pourrait again terminer #1 des pointeurs....et même si il n'y parvenait pas...serait quand même the top 1 player.
