....and they will do it tonight...lolll....with or without REMPE.
Speaking of Rempe there was a good article about him in the NY Post in which he was praised by Islanders veteran goon, Matt Martin, as an up and coming goon trying to find his way in the league.
Ironically, it was Martin with whom Rempe had his very first NHL fight, and the Rangers haven't looked back since:

My goodness McKinnon's 4 point night last night has pulled him within 2 points of Kucherov, who desperately wants the points title. Who is going to win?????? Colorado only has 2 games remaining while TB has 3. Kucherov can taste it, but he has to keep playing. It should be noted that Kucherov has won 1 scoring title in 2018-19; McKinnon, though he has knocked loudly on the door the last couple of years, hasn't won a scoring title.

To be honest I always thought the entire idea of hockey in the desert in Arizona was completely ridiculous. While I realize that this idea did give birth to Auston Mathews who is from that area, it's not like most kids grow up skating on outdoor rinks and ponds. Because there are no such things that exist in Arizona.

Now Utah, on the other hand, is a major capital of winter sports, skiiing in particular. And going to Coyotes games will give not to only the natives in Salt Like City, but tourists in for a weekend of skiing, something to do with themselves.

Matt Rempe back in lineup today vs. New York Islanders, so far 3 hits but no penalties:
Rangers coach Laviolette called out the Islanders for their terrible behavior in the last game, so we all know why Rempe is in their today- to dish out some retribution!

Hellebuyck Shuts Out Avs!!! 7-0!
5th shutout of the season for Hellebuyck, against McKinnon and the Avs. McKinnon, now 4 points behind Kucherov for the league lead, needed points, and now he has only 2 games to bridge the distance with Kooch. It's not looking good. Meanwhile, player of the day goes to Hellebuyck for shutting out the best offensive team in hockey (there are reports that Kucherov sent him a case of Champagne, which they can share together after each of them wins the Art Ross and Vezina Trophies):

Guys- just witnessed one of the more incredible performances in Frozen 4 history- Denver 2, BC 0 behind a 35 save shutout from 22 year old Canadian goalie Matt Davis. Davis had 23 saves in the 3rd period, and for the Frozen 4 he saved 139 of 142 shots, a ridiculous .978 Save % against the best teams in the country. Here is your unanimous Frozen 4 MVP from Calgary, Alberta:

Here is the game report on the NCAA hockey championship game last night. Just in the Frozen 4 games, Matt Davis saved 68 of 69 shots (98.5%, upping his save % from 97.8% for the tournament):

Cutter Gauthier, who had the most goals in the NCAA in the last 25 years with 38 (a ridiculous number) has signed with the Mighty Ducks, which should somewhat ease the pain that he and his Boston College teammates felt with their 2-0 shutout loss to Matt Davis and Denver in the NCAA Championship game. This kid is one of 3 1st round picks on BC, was drafted #5 by the Flyers in 2022, only to reject the team:
