Of course nothing is 100%, it's just not the point you were disputing. An SP that tests regularily, has higher rates and a screening protocol is likely much more safe than meeting a stanger in a bar that gets tested once a year if you're lucky. You're not on the same page. I personaly have never got an STI with an SP, but I have got them from dating partners.
You are forgetting one huge thing.
That SP literally has hundreds of clients, you actually believe those clients get tested more than the girl you pick up in a bar that has maybe one tenth the amount of sexual experiences or less. . The screening the SP does are you kidding what has that got to do with it. They are screening to be safe from potential physical abuse and for time wasters they are not asking for your test results. If they did that they would go broke.
Anyway like you I have never caught anything from either an SP or a civilian.
My friends that are not in sex work have gotten STIs a few times because they don’t always use protection (their partners probably do the same). My sex worker friends have never caught anything because they’re really serious about it since that’s how they make money.

It is not about the fact that sex workers are much more vigilant and careful I totally agree with that. Like you say it is about their livelihood
I wish civilian people were half as concerned about it, it is purely about the numbers and that clients will never be as careful as sex workers.
We are in the end all grown ups and know the risks.
New Question: With a huge demand next week/weekend for the Presidents cup, do the local SP's plan to have more girls working? Since they post the schedule the night before and 20k new people are in town with USD or Euro dollars I would think the girls are going to be booked fast.
How would I know that? I’m not running an agency

I doubt it's part of the act if someone does this, but it's not something I personally would do.

Just because time is paid, doesn't necessarily make it fake. I like real connections with people I meet and see.
Though I wouldn't ask someone out after, as my time is with my family when I am not out visiting. I have to pay childcare. And well I tend to need to escape into games to decompress after social time, it takes a lot out of me when I am being social. Like I don't even visit my mom unless I have to, so for a client to take it personally that I don't spend extra time with them is just to not know me. Especially repeat visits, as I wouldn't see them again if I didn't like them.

Question for clients. During bookings I often get asked certain questions. Some of them come up more often than others, and I think the most common is ''are you dating right now?'' or ''do you have a boyfriend or girlfriend?''.. Why do clients ask me this, and does the answer even change anything? (Just to be clear I'm not dating currently, but if I was seeing someone I certainly wouldn't be announcing it)
I don't ask these questions, but it's info I don't really want to know. My time with an SP is "fantasy time" so to speak. If they have an SO, I'd rather not know.
I wonder if the guys asking this are maybe thinking in the back of their minds that they're Christian Slater, you're Patricia Arquette, and it's going to be a True Romance situation. Or maybe they see themselves more like Richard Gere and you're Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. Probably depends on their finances and when they were born. Just hopefully they don't see themselves as Nicolas Cage and you as Elizabeth Shue in Leaving Las Vegas.

It would never cross my mind to ask that during booking or during the session. I really don't want to know tbh. I'm really surprised that you say this is the most common question you get.
I don’t ask as it’s too much invasion in private life unless I get to know the SP much better I suspect it’s lonely dudes who want to engage you into something more than transactional sex
