^^^^^^ Caught that in the news, the stupidity level of these people just went up a point or three.
Well, I think we should be able to cut them some slack. Everyone who has been to Heathrow knows it as a nice cozy welcoming place, so it seems perfectly sensible to make guests stay there a little longer. Otherwise they would obviously take the first chance to get the fuck out of there.

^^^^^ There are many who believe the carbon tax will help, they voted for Trudeau also, kind of sets the tone for stupidity or need for free stuff.
There are many that think that an annual 2% wealth tax on savings is a good idea. There are many that would like to see us pay 65% of our earnings to the tax man. There are many that want Socialism even though we have 100 years data from the Bolsheviks of 1917 to the fall of Venezuela in 2017...the problem is we need to gut the school of Social Sciences and people need to study chemistry and physics and become engineers. We got too many kids studying to be the next Fidel Castro. This is what you get when you churn out brain washed idiots.
Typical conservative. Posting stuff without facts. Global warming is what has been causing these long periods of bitter cold in Canada for the past ten years although this year has been an exception. There is something called a jet stream and it keeps polar air north and tropical air south. The greater the temperature difference between the artic and the tropics the stronger the jet stream therefore it is more direct and straight. It keeps the cold arctic air up north. Thanks to global warming the poles has been warming at a much faster rate reducing the temperature difference so the jet stream is weakening causing deep ridges and dips. It turns into waves which allows cold arctic air to sink further south and you get a persistent bitter cold winter. This was an incredible article. The EDF can be fairly reasonable at times. They will at least listen to reason. I want to know what their response was to this article.
Have to agree with Cloud on the jet streams, there are 2 and are affected by the temperatures at the poles and the equator. Just my own thought but the north pole is getting warmer and the south pole colder, perhaps something that has been going on for quite some time.

The answer is basically that we don't really know why it is happening, we only know that it is caused by global warming.
