In the budget plan released Tuesday, the province announced it will provide $20.5 million in funding over five years to set up 15 clinics for so-called “long COVID” patients, who number at least 9,000, according to a government estimate.

The 15 clinics will include five “reference centres” in Montreal, Quebec City and Sherbrooke, and 10 satellite clinics elsewhere in the province.
They will include physiotherapists, social workers, nurses, coordinators and administrative staff.

Symptoms of long COVID include fatigue, memory problems, shortness of breath, brain fog, headaches and muscle pain.

Flu vaccine could cut COVID risk.

Health-care workers who got the influenza vaccine were also protected from COVID-19.

That is not great news. We all know that. Aren't you aware that a new variant, the Omicron one is still around as much restrictions were lifted and that this Omicron is less than 8 months old (being much more contagious than the Delta variant which was there 1 year ago. in fact: Researchers agree that Omicron is a recent arrival. It was first detected in South Africa and Botswana in early November 2021.
But since one year majority is vaccinated so they are protected from serious illness even with a more contagious variant.

We are now fully seeing the extent of damage caused by the so called covid scamdemic. I said two years ago this would happen, I was called a conspiracy theorist well what I said is now reality. We are now reaping the damage of the government forced covid mandates, printing too many bills (giving away too much social benefits for a fake covid pandemic, sending millions to foreign countries), covid mandates causing supply shortages (someone has a cough and they had to get tested an isolate), getting involved in a war, excessively low interest rates, etc.. Inflation benefit governments and the rich the most especially banks. Now they got to raise interest rates and ultimately it is regular working class people who will pay the price for this. Repeat of Trudeau's father era when there was stagflation. Looks like we are headed towards another stagflation. Trudeau keeps on spending recklessly. He will cause major damage in these 3 years.

'' fake covid pandemic''...there you are again....incroyable... .yep can't find a better complotist fan...lol....and btw wht's hapening here/economy it's all over the planet....lol... ;) .
It is indeed a fake pandemic. The root culprit is the WHO and this organization should be dismantled. The biggest scam is to use public health to install authoritarian measures. The countries that cut off funding to the WHO were smart, but all countries funding the WHO no doubt followed this fake pandemic scheme with covid mandates. Do you know see the damage everywhere because of a mere cold? Inflation running rampant, people going deeper into poverty while politicians and corporations got richer. At the end this was always about money and power. More damage is to come. This is just the beginning.

Canada still has covid restrictions on traval despite many other countries dropping them. Tourism is very essential for the economy. More unnecessary restrictions for a cold. Ridiculous. It has been extended to June 30, Trudeau sure loves to control. This is also hypocritical as refugees are entering daily and in the thousands who are not vaccinated.

Around the corner
For now as Patron has stated Covid is nothing more than a more severe and dangerous cold which likely won’t kill you.
This however can change with a new variant if vaccination isn’t continued in third world countries.

Did the world over react. That is debatable, it did cause an economic catastrophe with which we will be living with for quite sometime.
Were all the lockdowns curfews mask mandates vaccine passports businesses lost forever loss of freedoms worth the lives it my have saved, time will tell.
Hopefully we have learned and will be better prepared for the next one.

The seven-day average Covid death rate is at 284 the last seven days.

Anything less than 330 / 330,000,000 (the population) will give all zeroes in six-digit mode.
Your post is laughable and pathetic. Average 7 day means, 284 deaths by day on average, calculated on last 7 days.
It is 284 X 365 = 103,000 by year
But I know you don't care.

Well said. Baby boomers were the ones wanting these lockdowns the most because they were usually the most scared of covid and the least affected by the damage caused by covid mandates and lockdowns. They are retired and their house is already paid for, they already have their family. The inflation caused by these lockdowns does not affect them much. The young were the most affected by this. They want to socialize and go out they are starting new to life and have their own family. They need to secure a future and also one day would like to be the owner of a detached house. And to add the way conjugal violence has greatly increased due to these lockdowns. These pro-lockdown individuals like to use wokeness to manipulate people to think their way just as the poster above you did. There is many other collateral damage to the exaggerated covid mandates like all the elective surgeries that got delayed especially cancer treatment. Like you said narcissistic is the route cause. Only those that expect everyone to surrender their freedoms for some that are so afraid is selfish to the core. These people best reexamine how selfish they are. Freedom is based on love and altruistism. Pro-government people follow whatever the government says, government says covid is dangerous then they think it is the almighty truth. More people die daily from air pollution but no one is ready to have that conversation.
