Tennessee Republican State Senator Frank Niceley points out that Hitler was able to make something of himself even after being homeless.

Recalling and pointing to random facts about Hilter and success sure seems like a self report.

I never knew he was homeless and I definitely would never use him as an example of how homeless ppl can make something of themselves.

Take Hitler as an example
Republicans are increasingly oblivious.

A new Republican-backed law in Florida will repeal Disney’s special tax status, resulting in a property tax increase of up to 25% for residents of Orange County.

The problem is that a whole lot of Republicans that vote, but don't live in Florida think that it will not happen to them.

If Florida does it, every Republican held state will be doing the same thing.
So let the Republican voters find out the hard way, that they are no more than trash to get rid of after the upcoming election.
BE CAREFUL ABOUT WHAT YOU VOTE FOR.

No surprise considering they've been working on this for over 40 years. The overturn of Roe V Wade comes from the Republican party
that has a candidate telling their daughter: "If rape is inevitable, lie back and enjoy it."

JD Vance, who was endorsed by former President Donald Trump, is the projected winner of the Ohio senate primary, beating out six other candidates.

VANCE: “I don’t care about Ukraine”. ME: I don’t care about him.

Trump's ego has grown, was it possible?

Do you live in Ohio? Why does it matter if you care about him or not?

That would be like me saying "I don't care about Rhode Island Senator Jack Reed"... I can't even place Rhode Island on the map and don't know what issues matter to people there - even worse I had to google the name of their senators as none have ever said anything nationally meaningful. Same for Ohio sadly - who is the current senator?

If JD Vance is as bad as you think then he will lose the election...

PS: you are posting about JD Vance so obviously... you care a little ;)

About a decade ago, I had an interaction I'll never forget in a classroom discussion. The course was bioethics and it was the day we discussed abortion. At one point, my big mouth found itself in debate with a younger guy that was ostensibly Christian. I say "ostensibly" because while we discussing the morality of abortion due to a rape, he looked at me and said,

"How do you know God didn't want her to be pregnant by rape?"

I had renounced Christianity by then, but I was still shocked. I only found out weeks ago that someone that ran for office (Republican, of course) around the general time of the class outright said the same thing (rather than rhetorically suggesting it with a question like the guy in my class did)

In their head, they're bypassing all the practical methods that obviate abortion and imposing their will all in God's name. The same way religion can poison someone's thinking enough to fly a plane into a building is the same way someone can think "God" wants a woman to be pregnant by any means--including rape.

No I don't live in Ohio.

Because international politics interests me.

However, I know where Rhode Island is located.

No, I didn't know the name of the senator from Ohio.

I hope.

(New York) Across Ohio, viewers have seen scores of ads in recent months reminiscent of the derogatory epithets used by J.D. Vance to denigrate Donald Trump in 2016: "idiot", "reprehensible and “toxic,” among others.

Poor Trump, on top of all his faults, he has no memory.

Ali Velshi reports on Democrat Carol Glanville's victory in a local, Ohio state legislature election in which she defeated Republican Robert “RJ” Regan, an avid Donald Trump supporter deluded by QAnon conspiracies who'd gained notoriety for his crass remarks about rape, in a district traditionally held by Republicans.

I’m seldom shocked by right wing nutters anymore, but this guys remark about his daughters was shocking to hear.
I hope his wife takes the girls and gets very far away from him.

After abortion, what's next? Why, public education of course!

....what's evident is that the right is stoked about Alito's draft opinion. It folds in decades of specious right wing arguments that posit that the government has absolutely no obligations to its citizens: No duty to protect human rights, no need to provide services like education or health care. This ideology has long been called "libertarianism," but in truth it's just uniquely American flavor of fascism. There's no planet where "liberty" is expanded by forcing women to give birth or keeping children illiterate. Republicans can see their dystopian agenda for the United States coming into view, and they couldn't be more excited.

A judge rules that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis' new Congressional maps are completely biased and must be thrown out.

It's about time some judge did something to stop this pattern of Republican lawlessness.
