Here's another GOP story in the news today: The Republican-controlled Senate in Texas voted against impeaching Ken Paxton, the Republican AG of Texas even though there appear to be huge amounts of evidence implicating him in fraud and other corruption. So obviously for Republicans, impeachment is only something that should be used against Democrats and if it's being used against a Democrat there doesn't even need to be a reason. Show me a GOP politician and 98% of the time you'll be showing me a piece of slime (and if it's Pence or McCarthy, the slime has no spine).

The last night debate of candidates for Presidency 2024 election was a shit or clowns show from what I have seen !
Yes it was great comedy. It was a circus filled with clowns arguing with each other and insulting each other. There was Ronnie D. with his head bobbing up and down like a child's battery-operated toy and trying to spew as much hatred as he possibly could. There was Mike Pence, possibly the world's most boring man, bragging about the non-existent successes he had with Donnie and pretending to be a tough guy, which was probably the funniest part of the whole show. There was Nikki Haley saying to Vivek, "Every time I hear you say something I feel like I just got dumber." There was Vivek being Vivek: smiling broadly and trying to be Trump Part Two.
There were all the usual GOP/Faux News talking points (Biden, the border, immigration, fentanyl, crime, blah blah blah). There were lots of empty promises but no specific plans or solutions. There were often 5 or 6 of these fools talking all at once so that none of them could be heard. There was Tim Scott taking shots at Vivek for saying last time that everyone else on the stage was bought and paid for. There was the usual talk about how the USA is the greatest country the world has ever seen, as these useless phonies tried to pretend they were patriots who love their country and not just a bunch of hungry self-serving opportunists looking to get a high-paying job and a lot of power.
It really was a clown show with a bunch of unlikeable people with lots of complaints but no solutions, just empty promises and hate-filled BS. Only Chris Christie came off well because he was the only one to tell the truth about the GOP's many-times-indicted cult leader.
Possible presidential candidates? I wouldn't trust any of these nitwits to be the president of my back yard.

Here is something that I never thought I would ever write: Bravo Matt Gaetz.
No, I haven't gone totally crazy and I still disagree with Gaetz on everything else...but I totally applaud his now official efforts to remove Kevin McCarthy as Speaker. McCarthy has proven many times that he is a corrupt, spineless, soulless, hypocritical, lazy, inept liar interested SOLELY in hanging on to the job that he sold his soul for. The GOP is filled with dirt and McCarthy is one of the biggest pieces. Unless or until someone even worse comes along, Kev is the worst ever at his position. What a contrast between this pathetic jerk and previous Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who excelled at the position.
Besides, it's always great to watch Republicans fighting each other like in these classic battles: Donnie vs. Meatball Ronnie, Nikki vs. Smiling Vivek, Donnie vs. Vanilla Pence, Gaetz vs. McCarthy, MTG vs. Boebert, MTG vs. Gaetz, Liz vs. Donnie, Donnie vs. Moscow Mitch, Donnie vs. Elaine Chao, Christie vs. Donnie, etc.

Sad but true. We'll probably just have to wait until the Democrats re-take the House. Until then it will just be more total failure by the Republican majority. The only things they're good at are failure, corruption and hatred.
