Mini Trump Rasmaswamy was the craziest by far followed by DeSantis.

In New-Hampshire today she was ssled what she thought was the cause of the American Civil War.
She took quite som time to answer that it was the way the Government was running the country.
She didn't seem to know that slavery was the first and mean cause.

That was typical of Haley. A mealy-mouthed reply intended to not offend racist MAGA voters and those who still proudly wave the Confederate flag. The Civil War was about slavery and the refusal of slave states to agree to abolish slavery. Saying it about the role of government and freedom is a "duck and cover", cowardly response. When pressed by the questioner about why she didn't mention slavery she said "What do you want me to say about slavery?" In other words just tell Nikki what you want her to say and she'll say it.

You are partly right. You didn't write about slavery. It wasn't indeed the only cause of the civil war but why didn't she say anything about it in her first answer and in response to the man afterward.
I think that Jazzman opinion make some sens, her answer appealed to her supporters and MAGA voters.
I wasn't raised in USA and wasn't teached Amrrican History in High School.
