Even the people themselves will never insist on it or allow it to happen as there is such a divide between the wealthy and the poor and it is always the ones with full pockets that get their guy elected, regardless which party is in power, the control is always with the wealthy of one or the other.
The voter is left with a choice of the better of 2 corrupt organizations and their backers.
The problem is that it is always attached to money and the poor always get the short end of the stick.
I would totally agree that medical care is far better in the US if you can afford it.
I had first hand knowledge of it having a heart attack there and being in the hospital within 30 minutes and surgery half an hour later saved my life.
Luckily my insurance covered the cost which was an astronomical number ( they really go all out once they find out you are covered by insurance).
Had I been home in Quebec I would probably be dead as the hospital I live closest to did not and does not have the capability for what I needed and that is where I would have been taken.
I also remember overhearing a conversation by a couple of doctors that a patient had to wait 30 min in emergency before being attended to by a doctor and that it was totally unacceptable.
Last time I took an elderly family member to the hospital here we waited 12 hours before she was able to have a doctor look at her. was in a corridor where nobody looked at her and I had to stand for the whole 12 hours as there wasn’t even a chair to sit down on.
So no health care is far from perfect here but even the very poor have access to it.
Of course with people who can afford the private sector you don’t have to wait 3-6 months for a CT scan you can have it done same day most times.
When you have to go to a hospital emergency ward however service is the same rich or poor and medication is relatively affordable for all as it is subsidized heavily by the government.

Yep, they veto bills that will help others but then they put their hands out and beg for assistance when they need help. They criminalize abortion and then it's revealed that they've paid for abortions for their mistresses. They accuse Democrats of criminal behavior but seem to overlook treasonous activities committed by their own leaders. They claim to be the party of law and order but then scream to defund the FBI when one of their own traitors is investigated. They say Blue Lives Matter until their treasonous supporters attack the police while attempting a violent coup to overthrow a government. The examples of Republican hypocrisy are too numerous to list.

Herschel Walker, despite his status as a football legend, is probably the worst Senate candidate in living memory. One could charitably put his abysmal ignorance and the pitiful inconsistency of his remarks on the account of too many concussions, but the candidate of the “party of family values” also drags a heavy history of domestic violence and infidelities. He abandoned his four children and their four mothers. He even admits to having once pointed a gun in the face of one of them.
Almost everything Walker says about his past is a web of lies. Height of hypocrisy, this supporter of the criminalization of abortion has just been denounced by one of his former conquests who affirms - with supporting evidence - that he encouraged her to have an abortion and reimbursed her the invoice.
In other words Walker is like most Republican politicians: hypocritical, dishonest, selfish, corrupt, disgusting. No wonder the GOP welcomed him with open arms.

Live in a red state? 40% more likely to die violently
We collected 2019 and 2020 murder data from all 50 states. (Comprehensive 2021 data is not yet available.) We pulled the data from yearly crime reports released by state governments, specifically the Departments of Justice and Safety. For states that didn’t issue state crime reports, we pulled data from reputable local news sources. To allow for comparison, we calculated the state’s per capita murder rate, the number of murders per 100,000 residents, and categorized states by their presidential vote in the 2020 election, resulting in an even 25-25 split.
We found that murder rates are, on average, 40% higher in the 25 states Donald Trump won in the last presidential election compared to those that voted for Joe Biden. In addition, murder rates in many of these red states dwarf those in blue states like New York, California, and Massachusetts. And finally, many of the states with the worst murder rates—like Mississippi, Kentucky, Alabama, South Carolina, and Arkansas—are ones that few would describe as urban. Only 2 of America’s top 100 cities in population are located in these high murder rate states. And not a single one of the top 10 murder states registers in the top 15 for population density.

If you live in a state with more crime you are less receptive to “soft on crime” democrats….
Clearly “soft on guns” republicans push policies that increase violence too…
Southern poor people vote for tax cutting republicans while rich coastal elites vote for “tax the rich” democrats.
Maybe the culture war is the only thing that matters in the US nowadays.
