Gurgeh is the main character from a novel by Iain M. Banks called The Player of Games. I had just finished reading it, and loved it, when I came up with the handle. The numbers are random. Of course, a client who is a "game player" has negative connotations to an SP, but the reference is so obscure that I figured nobody would notice...

"tovarische" (usually spelled without the 'e') is Russian for 'friend' or 'my friend', so "udachi vam, tovarische!" And, no, I'm not Russian!

My (weird) board handle is actually named after an onomatopoeia (a word that is also a sound) that I would use frequently in the comics I used to draw when I was younger!
I used it usually when someone exploded in blood (or other fluids)! My comics were pretty... vulgar and violent I must say!

If I can remember back to Bigdoggie board when I created this name I had just moved to the northeast. The winter was fracking unbearably cold.

So I thought--"Frozen" as in my balls and face are frozen along with my nose hairs in fact from the frigid winter. And Fredd as in Fred Flintstone back in the ice/stoneage.

Twas meant to be funny, not historically accurate. I once had an SP think the "Frozen" moniker was from drug use. I assured her that it was not....lol
