Honestly Igna and Doc Holliday, when it comes to escort things, you are refference for me and well respected "hobbyist" but when it comes to NHL knowing... :D you know absolutely nothing and are hillarious to read...

Defending a team of "fond de baril" so hard make me laught my ass off. Leafs are not going in the right direction at all, they barely stay at the same level as they where last year....period.

LEAFS NAME VP OF HOCKEY OPERATIONS

Long-time Burke pal Poulin signs on

Ex-NHLer becomes third man in Leafs' management hierarchy

Yet more irrelevant, pointless, inconsequential, and insignificant drivel from one of our two resident buffoons.

It doesn't matter who or how many people are in the "Leafs' management hierarchy", the end result is still the same - golf season in Toronto starts on Sunday April 11, 2010.

Gus gets pwned again!

The Leafs have someone named Kaberle who's better than Markov.

Let me school you once more:

Over the last three seasons:

Kaberle: 23 goals (0.107 gpg), 142 points in 213 games (0.66 ppg), -13, 6.0%

Markov: 34 goals (0.143 gpg), 171 points in 237 games (0.72 ppg), +1, 7.7%

Markov’s average goals per game are a third higher than Kaberle’s and Markov’s average points per game are almost 10% higher. Markov’s plus/minus is better, Markov’s shooting percentage is better and he’s been more durable over the last three seasons.

Over the last two seasons:

Kaberle: 12 goals (0.08 gpg), 84 points in 139 games (0.6 ppg), -16, 4.7%

Markov: 28 goals (0.18 gpg), 122 points in 160 games (0.8 ppg), -1, 9.2%

Markov’s average goals per game are more than double Kaberle’s and Markov’s average points per game are almost 30% higher. Markov’s plus/minus is better, Markov’s shooting percentage is better and he’s been more durable over the last two seasons.

last season:

Kaberle: 4goals (0.07 gpg), 31 points in 57 games (0.54 ppg), -8, 4.3%

Markov: 12 goals (0.15 gpg) , 64 points in 78 games (0.82 ppg), -2, 7.3%

Markov’s average goals per game are more than double Kaberle’s and Markov’s average points per game are 50% higher. Markov’s plus/minus is better, Markov’s shooting percentage is better and he’s been more durable over the last season.

Look at the trend in terms of average goals and points per game – the gap is widening – Markov is getting better and Kaberle is getting worse. Or if it isn’t already clear for you idiot Laff fans I can always include some graphs.

Obviously numbers and statistics are a bit too much for buffoon #2 to grasp. Buffoon #2 seems to also have problems with English, in particular, grammar, punctuation and sentence structure. Buffoon #2 must have been dropped on his head a few too many times as a baby – perhaps remedial math and English classes are in order? :D

that all you got? WEAK, bwahahaha! guess i touched a 'nerve' eh?

we should call you the band wagon stat machine...... thing is, your stats mean crap, they, like you, have no credibility, past is the past, and your stats are based on Kaberle's past linemates and teamates, and the truth of the matter is your team is the same or worse than last year, and mine is improving and will continue, and most likely, yours wont :D under gainey anyways, he needs to go

Truth of the matter is Kaberle is one of the best puck moving defensemen in the NHL, and one of the best passers as well, he is a huge asset, however, i have a feeling he's gonna be getting traded, i kinda hope not, but it is possible, and i guarentee you it wont be to the scabs, i mean Habs

whenever anyone complains about one's grammar, etc, it means one thing, you got PWNED!!!!!, and your only rebutle, is to "try" to discredit the person, well, you cant discredit someone when you yourself have no credibility in the first place ... BWAHAHAAHAH!!!!, btw einstein, i didnt no i was writing on a college board for an exam, last i knew this was a escort review board, but i guess a period or crossing my t is the only thing you can say, again PWNED!!!!!!

2009/2010........ HABS WILL SUCK! :)

Maybe big George can finish what Lucic started and send this big goof back to Avery's sloppy seconds.

Distorted and Desparate Habs Fans :)

Man, you scabs fans all run in bunches dont you? least you no nothing about hockey?, least you no nothing about one said Brian Burke? do you really think he will trade Kaberle for nothing less than a top quality top six forward, or some other good talent combimed with draft picks, etc???? with the additions on defense that he already signed this offseason, it's possible to trade the highly sought after Kaberle for great Value in return to fill in more pieces of the puzzle....

really, i was never a huge Kaberle fan, but now, after what Burke has added to this team, i want him to stay, for his leadership as well as he doesnt have to play beside that big goof Kubina who i feel always made Kaberle just a little above average, now playing with Schenn, Komiserak, Exelby, Finger, Van Ryan etc.... he will shine , and i am hoping he does stay...

Well, it would take one piece of braindead management to trade one of the best puck moving defensement in the league and one of the best passers as well especially when such huge asset better thn Markov, as you say, is only 31 and under contract for another 2 years for the bargain price of $4.25M.

Then again your ''kinda hope'' may indicate that you're not really all that interested in keeping Kaberle with the Leafs.

I think Tanguay would be a huge addition to the Leafs offense, HUGE, well if he stays healthy but in any sport you take your chances with injury, i say try to sign him if at all possible..... how much $ does Burke have left and what would it take to sign Alex?

we dont need Bertuzzi, and i doubt Lang would interest Burke unless he comes very very cheap, you have no idea at all what Robert Lang your getting after that kind of injury at his age, i doubt Burke even has much or any interest in him

. There's no urgency to get rid of them now, other than the fact it would clear up more cap space for the Leafs & allow them to sign a more expensive free agent....a Tanguay or Bertuzzi, for example. Heck, maybe even a Robert Lang!

refer to post #504
and again........... feel PWNED! , maybe your GHG in disguise  ....... go learn some hockey and come back when your schooled better on the subject at hand :)

Now leaving all salary cap considerations aside, the question is how do you expect Burke to maximize his return at a point where Kaberle's realized value (57 GP only, 23:27 TOI/G compared to 24:30 to 26:00 range for top d-men, 51th highest total points only for d-men in 2008-09) contradicts his potential value?

i really think you and ghg are the same person, both desparate and scared habs fans, both have limited arguments w/o using the ALMIGHTY STATISTICS (that mean nothing pertaining to the post at hand), and both as lame and weak as they come

do you have a wagon picked out also like GHG after the scabs first 3 game losing streak too? :D........ if i were a betting man, i would say "yesssssy indeed he does" :)

the ALMIGHTY STATISTICS

Of course you don’t like statistics because you have no answer. Your only response is: “bawhahaahah” (something my 10 year old nephew writes on my Facebook wall, btw).

Lets throw out a few random points and see how you respond. Since numbers aren’t your thing, I’ll only use a few to make it a bit easier for you. Prove to us all you're not the mental midget you so very much appear to be, and counter each of these points:

  • Take away Antropov, Moore and Kubina’s production and add all the penalty minutes Orr, Exelby and Komisarek will rack up (hence a lot more time on the PK which translates into around 25% more goals against), on a team that is already lousy on the PK (dead last in the league at 74.7%). The Laffs were the worst defensive team in the NHL last season (dead last with the highest goals against, 293 total = 3.5 goals against per game) and will be even more so this season – and this along with an already feeble offense. End result: the Maple Laffs are no where near a playoff team
  • The Maple Losers have no team leadership. Wilson is an ineffective coach and has failed miserably to light a fire under your team. Moreover, there is no on-ice leadership to compensate for the coach's failure. You have no captain or anybody who can currently become captain and successfully lead by example. The Laffs are a disorganized, dispirited team, with no cohesion to speak of, and no system to define it.
  • By no stretch of the imagination have the Laffs made themselves into one of the toughest teams in the league nor do they have one of the top D-corps but the Habs actually might have made themselves into one of the speediest teams in the NHL and in the new NHL speed kills. Don't be surprised to see Montreal put up another 20 points more than the Laffs. While Burke was targeting the “best players not playing in the NHL” Bob was busy signing proven NHL performers.

some desperate habs fans will never get it i am sad to say....... guess you bumped your head when you fell off the "wagon" all those times last season :D
