It looks like, although still registered as a member, Oliver deleted all his posts:

If you read the last thread he had started, he apparently had a safe sex ephiphany and was re-orienting his hobbying practices.
I was wondering what was going on here, because the total number of posts has gone down by over 900 over the past five days. If you account for all the new posts that would have been made during this same period, it looks like some others have also been deleting their posts or have de-registered.

Never been a fan of the whole SW scene but for the founder of the SW club on MERB to call it quits, that`s going to lead to a lot of soul searching among the other SW hobbyists.
I think part of the reason why so many post disappeared was b/c Oliver was the thread starter of several SW megathreads among others. The deletion of the first post on a thread basically wipes out every post on the same thread.
Oliver... if you read this, could you at least leave one post to state what went on?

Oliver posted a while ago that he's finished his divinity studies and plans to open a ministry in a building on Ontario St. between St. Hubert and Papineau. He seems to already know many of his potential flock.
All kidding aside, he posted somewhere that things change so quickly that he considers old posts to be irrelavent. So he deleted his. He did not imply he would stop posting.

Well whatever the reason is its a shame he's gone and I do hope and pray that it was not because of any illness or something contracted via this hobby....
YEs it seems that way. Unfortunately the mods here are no shows in dealing with issues such as Matt's and those that oliver used to complain about. That is a real pity because this board serves a good purpose when used corectly. Just too many people asking the same crap time and again instead of reading around first.

Oliver, I can tell you that I (as well as shitloads of others) am happy as hell to see you back on the board. I have always found your posts and opinions on the scene to be incredible, full of detailed information and always a good source to check on if I happen to spot on or two interesting SWs in the Ontario St. area...
You are right that there will always be some people who only want to cause shit here but rest assured that you have more respect out of the visitors here than pretty much anyone else.
Having an archive would be a great idea. I mean how far back can we keep going? I wish that the mods here on merb would wake up and listen to people like you that have contributed so much.
Anyway, again welcome back, hope it's for a long time.
