Back to the question, I had to break up with a female cop that I was dating many years ago simply because sex was the only thing we had in common. Bad place to discuss this but seriously there are other thing to do then sex all the time. We barely went out for a meal or movie or dancing etc... I was dating this girl for a couple of months. It was all good, but with one glaring exception, her vocabulary. Her syntax was terrible, always using double negatives (e.g. "I didn't say nothing") and as a former English major, it drove me crazy. It did not feel right correcting her all the time, so I just broke up with her, but avoided telling her the true reason. Not sure if this is petty, or just being a snob.
