Sorry...(bro , pal, buddy, you pick the one you like, and i will use another :) ) but once again your "living in a glass house" ramblings dont stack up to what your "trying" to get across, ehhh, im used to it so carry on.

Liking the Yanks/Twins series so far? Andy Pettite still has it and it showed, he now becomes the Yanks Key to another championship, they limped into the playoffs the last 4-5 weeks and if the real Andy P is back, look out folks.,.... btw, has Kerry Wood ben one of the best pickups at the trade deadline in years or what? Good job Mr. Cashman!

For the record "bro"...while there were indeed references in my posts (as there were in yours), there was no name calling and no degrading names. Again when you are gonna say something, be accurate will ya...? Oh whoa is poor me and playing Mr Innocent is way to transparent "my friend"...so save us the drama will ya...?

Well...the Rangers and Phillies look good. The Twins...wtf???? Can they at least compete. And its too early to tell about SF and Atlanta. Sentimentally I'd love to see Bobby Cox take it but he just does not have the horses.

Have fun,

Jman

Tell me something Igna, where are the Yankees going to put Carl Crawford next year, are they going to move Swish from Right or are they going to move Granderson to Left and let Crawford take over from Centre?, I think that it's safe to say that the Yankees will have the best outfield in baseball next year hands down.

Also where do you think Beltre will end up?, I'm thinking Toronto would be a good fit.

Actually JoeT my good man, it seems like only a yr ago as you I and Rumpie sat in my suite in Montreal watching the Yanks take care of Biz in the world series that we were suggesting how great Lackey would be in Yankee pinstripes, well actually you were as i never wanted him, and that seemed to have worked itself out quite fine,..... i dont really want crawford, i would rather have the CASHman use that CASH for a top 5 starter..... thats all we need anyways, and of course to resign Jeter, which is a given...

I'm thinking Crawford to take the place of Gardner would be a great trade off and as far as pitching goes I'm hearing Cliff Lee.

Lee
Hughes
Burnett

No Pettitte? If we dont win the World Series, i would imagine Andy P will be back. His kids are at an age now where they want him to keep playing, they think its "Cool" that their Dad pitches for the NY Yankees...

Typically Yankee fanesque...you boys should worry about this season getting completed before you start talking off season fantasies...remember what happened "when it was all over"? No team in the HISTORY of baseball has EVR come back from a 3 - 0 deficit...oh wait a minute...:cool:

yankees_choke.gif

Well, I happen to agree with the 2 self proclaimed Yankee geniuses...it would only be the right thing to do for the Yankees to resign Jeter. I just hope Jeter is a "team" player enough to recognize that his talent and performance are on the decline and certainly that trend will continue hence he should take a commensurate home team salary cut.

I agree with 2 of your pitching selections also...opposing teams will love to see AJ and Andy (the 10 games he will pitch). Keeping an aging, worn out pitcher such as Petite who is only good for 10 -15 outings a year - it would be typical Cashman behavior, although it may not be the best thing for the team (cute story that really warms my heart, but who gives 2 shits about what Andy's kids think when it comes to the business side of baseball). You boys will need all the help you can get still trying to win #28 next season.
Also keeping a roster spot filled with Burnett would be a traditional Yankee waste of payroll as was displayed historically with Pavano and Brown and others. Pavano, Brown, Burnett or Lackey...who would you rather have...DOH!?

And what about Javier Vazquez (that ace of aces)?! Were'nt you 2 guys just a few short months ago saying how great he was gonna be...ahh SHORT memories...typical. Hurry up now...delete the posts if you haven't already...

Hey, maybe Theo will offer CASH a great deal on Dice-K?

Now heres a starting rotation for ya...
Burnett
Vazquez
Dice K
Hughes
Joba

Petite - P/T

You guys just crack me up...lol!

Ahh!!! I remember this great night which was the night that rumples left early because of two reasons which were (A) the Yankees were kicking ass and (B) because it was 9pm which was way past his bedtime.:)

JoeT, is it me or do you get under this guys skin? I know a good majority of "red sox nation" has their world series most years by watching the Yanks in postseason play and picking up on anything bad they do but "red sox nation" is like Babe Ruth to Yanks fans, the gift that just keeps on giving and giving and giving! i have never seen such a comedy act better than "red sox nation" other than maybe say, Howie Mandel or Adam Sandler

Yanks can put the Twins out of their misery today... then only 8 more wins til the Parade... GO YANKEES!

Being a member of Leafs Nation, i share the pain of the Red Sox fans who went 86 years without winning the championship. Well, it's been only 43 years for the Leafs, but still, i know the feeling of what it is to go so long without winning the big prize. I would ask the Yankee fans of this board so please be considerate & give the Red Sox fans a break. As a Leafs fan, i feel i have something in common with the Red Sox fans & i share their pain. Cheering for a team that has been totally inept in winning a championship for decades isn't exactly fun. So guys, please....give the Sox fans a break, will ya?

Doc,

You may want to try doing a few things:

1. Google "World Series Champions" - what you will find is that the Red Sox have won 2 in the new century to the Yankees 1.

2068300261_3a7d54cb80.jpg

2. Get off that 86 year thing...it makes a reasonably intelligent individual like yourself look as ignorant of baseball knowledge and as stupid as the members you may or may not be trying to emulate. It was over in 2004.

curse185.jpg

BTW, another baseless, meaningless reply from lgna69xxx, but it is expected and predictable as he has demonstrated repeatedly that he has no baseball knowledge.

3. Figure it out...the Leafs just can't win...just like the Blue Jays(tho I do like Cito). And the Habs will win ANOTHER cup before the Leafs do.

BTW ladies, I know its all in fun and I am way beyond seeing through your playground games...so hey, enjoy another round and have a great weekend! Me, I have a life to live...unlike some who have time for thousands of silly, substance-less posts. You see I have a theory, someone with an extremely high post count here in a short span of years...is a lonely person or a bored person. Thanks for the laughs though.

Have fun,

Jman

PS Iggy, for you to make the comment you did...you don't get it...once again. You can't even play your own game well. LOL. Satire - go look it up. Then have Joe.t read it to you and explain it on the whiteboard.

No need for a cavalry in this thread, Jman has it well in control. Just reaffirming the solid to the point comment made by the Jman. Don't you agree? As for todays Bs game, wasnt such a good game from a Bs fans perspective but it is only game 1. Apparently you've ordained the Laffs as Cup champs after one game. Wouldn't expect anything less out of you. Bwaaaahhhhhaaaahhhh!
