This morning 5 confirmed cases. (inside the buses)
The organizer of the demonstration in 1 of the 2 buses had to be admitted to the emergency room and the staff took good care of him.

These are not jokes, everyone is tired of this crisis and want to get out of it asap.

Interesting article.

Canada seems to be one of the countries that bought every vaccine type out there. On one hand it makes sense because nobody knew which would actually work. And with vaccines being put on hold, some countries blocking export to others....etc, how could Justin know what we would receive ? He was not wrong.

He has said that any excess vaccine would be re-distributed. Now, given we paid 4x the price other countries did, are we going to charge the poorer country the 4x we paid ?

Trudeau will gift it to the other countries, he loves to give our money away. Only thing is he does not like to give to our seniors, war vets or homeless.

Another overly egotistical thought.

In these very difficult times and especially for poorer countries, I think we have to help each other and stop looking at our big belly buttons. The coronavirus is out of control in India.

^^^^^ Trudeau may gift the $40 billion TransMountain pipeline to the natives, giving is what trudeau does best when it is not his.... The bellybutton thing seems to have caught on :)
I am all for helping other countries but there is a need here to get assistance to our own citizens.

He has taken many measures to save these citizens, during this period of Covid.

Ah yes we were not in a period of health crisis, it's only a flu. (3,28 millions/in world)

The Lancet magazine, has just announced that if nothing is done in India, there will be 3 to 4 times more deaths due to the coronavirus, than at present.

Already 242 k

Trudeau is a failure to this pandemic, all the POS knows to do is throw money at an issue. Anyone who thinks Trudeau has done a reasonable job on this is a fool, just my opinion. The US is basically laughing at us along with other countries. He does things to improve his image, not to assist others, even the UN caught onto his BS and refused him a seat. The year he said war vets were asking more than " we " can give he upped foreign spending by $2 billion.

Most know population density has a lot to do with the virus infections, numbers are per sq. km

Canada. 4
US......... 36
China.... 148
India..... 455

You had to expect an explosion of cases, given their large poverty population and expect the worst.

Two-thirds of people in India live in poverty: 68.8% of the Indian population lives on less than $2 a day. Over 30% even have less than $1.25 per day available - they are considered extremely poor. This makes the Indian subcontinent one of the poorest countries in the world; women and children, the weakest members of Indian society, suffer most.

4 x 242k divided by population remains better than what south of the border and Quebec did. Pretty pathetic
Did the numbers wow, even if India hits the 4 X deaths still half the deaths Quebec had per population percentage.

Did some more searching, looks like India may be under reporting the deaths by up to 6 times.

Must be nice to be able to give away other Canadians vaccines after you've already gotten yours.

For all of you wanting to bankrupt many for the virus, a little known fact that can be changed, if people want it to.

Around 9 million people die every year of hunger and hunger-related diseases. This is more than from AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis combined.

Do any of you read any articles about this? Does the media really give a fuck about this, no because it does not spread fear into people and to the media fear sells.

Hunger? Very sad indeed...but what does that have to do with a thread on the coronavirus, apart from trying to distract from the issue and avoid the topic? By all means, start a separate thread on hunger though if you wish. That would also be worth discussing...in the proper place.
