Kreider was tripped by the Canadiens defensemen while going full speed. The Price injury came because the defense of the Habs were slow to react to his breakaway and tripped him to stop the scoring opportunity.

One of my sources tells me that people are trying to unload their tickets for tonight's game at an alarming rate....at prices below cost! I wonder why?

Exactly. But what do you expect from the habs & their fan base? It's always a case of excuse after excuse!

A bad game without emotion ! After allowing 2 goals in 120 min against the brun ! It's a hard comeback something that the leaf couldn't do last year . Let's what happens tonigth ! Budaj can be good in one game and if Therrien alternates with Tokarsky their could be hope .

Hab fans obviously have a lot to learn to improve their excuses from Leaf lovers. The latter's team was only invited to the post season once in a decade and even that single time humiliated themselves with an epic collapse.

If Tampa Bay or later Boston, had played better, MTL wouldn't have had a chance to play a terribly in the opening game of the THIRD round. If Toronto and a few other teams hadn't been so pathetic, MTL wouldn't have even made the playoffs. I'm not a Habs' fan, but how's that for excuses?

If Montreal is reduced to rotating their two backup goalies for the rest of the series, they are in trouble. Neither one of those guys is King Lundqvist. Price may be a Prince, but Budaj and Tokarski have no royalty. They are peasants, or serfs.

thanks to Chris Kreider. Anyone that believes he doesn't a pattern think again

Pattern ?

The first two links show Kreider injuring a goalie because of the goalie's own teammate pushing Kreider into him.

Ottawa should have shot Marc Methot, as Anderson was on fire up to that point

Ottawa was never the same after that game

The 3rd link shows a stupid penalty Kreider took

The last one was a hit on Feodor Tyutin in which it clearly shows that he did not hit him from behind

Any other conspiracy theories ( no alien abduction stories please )

Best Regards

Look behind you.
Tokarski??? What has he ever done?? That would be a huge slap in the face to Budaj, who's signed until the end of next season.

What has Budja done? Never ever a victory in a cup game, only played in 8 playoff games in 13 years, allowed 3 power play goals on 8 shots, last 7 games .843 save percentage... Not very good.
Tokarski: was in the jr. championship, memorial cup & Calder cup and won all 3. With Montreal 3 games and .946 saves, with Hamilton 41 GP and .919 save %.

I would take one in the reds for $100 to see another beat down on Les Canadien. Seriously tho, for all those habs fans who were talking good of what Chris Nilan was saying about the Bruins and the infamous "handshake line", I was listening to him today on "habs lunch" and he clearly agrees it was an accident by Kreider.

BOYZ! :D

The Price injury came because the defense of the Habs were slow to react to his breakaway and tripped him to stop the scoring opportunity.

WHAT DID YOU SAY?????????? Oh come on now. The Montreal Angels/Canadiens never get cheap or cheat. Certainly that paragon of Montreal hockey innocence Subban-trash never cheats. He was just trying to give Brandon Dubinsky a chance to rest by giving him a dirty hard trip to the ice...in the middle of a game while chasing the puck. It looks like the Canadiens are getting the Karma they deserve so well with their dirty tricks. How PRICE-less it is that their own cheating has lost them the one player they couldn't afford to lose.

Of course, Montreal coach Therrien pulled a verbal flop immediately accusing Kreider of hitting Price without cause. But at 38 seconds of the video anyone can clearly see in slow motion how Emelin trips Kreider by whacking him with his stick off Kreider's right foot which is prevented from taking hold on the ice in stride and throws Kreider off while at high speed. That's a Canadien NOT  cheating.

Geeeeeez, even their coach makes BS excuses.

It will be a Los Angeles, Montreal Stanley Cup final, rematch of 1993 with Montreal winning the Cup again(My prediction, meaning it will happen).

Ah yes, the CURSE OF JOE.T never fails.

If Montreal is reduced to rotating their two backup goalies for the rest of the series, they are in trouble.

All this means is it's time for the Canadiens and their fans to find some pride, instead of constantly whining about respect, and find their balls and guts. They've got professional goalies they chose to keep behind Price just like the Patriots chose to keep Cassel behind Brady, when the latter got hurt, and kept on winning. Go out there and give your best like men, like hockey players...with NO FREAKING EXCUSES. But as sure as it snows in Canada...here it comes.....

One of my sources tells me that people are trying to unload their tickets for tonight's game at an alarming rate....at prices below cost! I wonder why?

What's this?????????? The great fans of Montreal have already lost their pride and respect for the team? No wonder there are emotional issues. I hope Mitsou doesn't call them white trash for quitting after game 1. :thumb:

Cheers,

Merlot

Tokarski's stats look a little better than Budaj's. The coaching staff sees these guys in practice and they have to go with whomever they think gives them the best chance to win. However I like the Rangers' chances with a King in the net. It's hard to bet against Royals.

Chris Kreider is not a dirty player. He is also not a bad player, he is a VERY good player with tons of potential to be a GREAT player. Guess who the habs could have drafted in 2009? That's right, they could have took Kreider with the 18th overall pick but instead decided to take hometown "hero" Louie Leblanc instead....Who was at #19 you say? Why none other than the Rangers and Chris Kreider.

Tickets were sold within one hour in TORONTO for $25 a pop to see on the big screen for tonight's Rangers and Canadiens game.

Proceeds will go to educate leaf fans on not to get their hope's up for next year.

It took a little shorter time in BOSTON, where tickets were sold for, again $25 a pop. TORONTO losses again.

Proceeds will go to educate THE player and some fans on good sportMANship.

While watching the Penguins and Rangers series, one player impressed me and that is Mats Zuccarello.

Signed undrafted by the Rangers from Oslo, Norway and he just stands at 5' 7" !!!!!

May the best team win !

Tokarski gets the start tonight for the Canadiens.
