Yeah that's typically "habs" not to be able to be constant and concentrated on every matches even during the playoffs, moreover at 1pm and just 2,5days after a match7...

Mental weakness.

Rangers are in mission, very good fighting spirit...

1pm start lol, totally forgot the game was on, so I turn it on and it is already 2-1 Rags..... within 5 mins of watching they score 2 more, game over. No way anyone is scoring 3 goals in the third to tie let alone 4 to win against the King.

He hurt his knee when Kreider was taken down on a breakaway and violently collided with him in the net. The Habs defensemen caused that injury.

But was that the reason he was replaced or was it because he shit the bed through the first two periods? I think it's the latter reason.

6-1 early in the 3rd, YIKES! Looks like both teams are showing who they really are. I always thought Montreal was playing better than they were in these playoffs and that they would only go as far as Price would carry them and as soon as Price has a bad game (along with that shaky D) this is what was bound to happen against a team like the NYR who are not only more talented, but extremely well coached and oh yea, they have the best goalie in the world as well.

Edit*** now 7-1
Price get replaced because he was hurt or because he just sucked today?

It's still only the first game of the series so we'll see what happens after Monday night then I think we'll know for sure.

On a side note, you know it's going bad for your team when the most overrated player in the NHL Steve Nash scores a goal against you...right Smuler? ;)

When you're a professional team you don't pass up a playoffs game like that. No excuses. Hope the Rangers to score again and again if it can cause a reaction for the next match.

Montreal is built on speed but the Rangers play one of the fastest transition games in the entire NHL and are playing their best hockey of the season right now. True it is only one game tho.

Nothing like a good loss to bring you back to earth . They all have to regroup and reconcentrate and come stronger next game with Price ... No worries mitsou they will come back !!

I have a niece who lives in Boston & after they lost the other day, we were talking via text & she said, "Everyone's walking around like someone just killed their dog." I laugh every time I think of it. Not at Boston, mind you, just at the image & her way of putting it. The Rangers are very lucky to be in the position they are in right now & I'm finally starting to believe they have a legitimate chance. I think if Tortorella was still the coach, they wouldn't have even made the playoffs.

The Rangers are a good team. Montreal was sloppy and unprepared for today's game and they paid for it. I still think Lundqvist will have to come up big in this series. If Price is not hurt it is game on.
