Independents usually have 15, 20, 40 photos on their website (our portfolio often goes back 2 or 3 years so you can see if we changed or not), add photos from at least one new professional photoshoot every year, many posts a lot of selfies on social media with regular interactions, and have an ad copy with often pertinent details in it. The whole gives you a good portrait enough, the people who book me don't need more details. But you can find my measurements and other details on one of my advertising platforms, to me that is enough.

But I must add that I often see a "detail" section on indys websites, though.

Agencies post 4 photos of a girl and that's it, no ad copy, some post selfies on their social media page but it doesn't seem the norm, which may be why physical measurements and details seem more relevant.
I consider upfront numerical stats as the evidence of honesty and respect for a customer. Photos are hardly substitute for the exact numerical description as often mix the art with reality. Some short girls have long legs and look taller in pictures, the opposite is also often true. Some chubby girls may look more proportional in photos etc.,etc.

Then again people can (and do) lie about their numbers too. For this reason I feel like at least the pictures give you a better idea in some casses. Personally I don't even know my own weight, I'm not 100% sure about my height, and I know no other measurement of mine besides my boobs haha. I don't want to know my numbers for my own mental health.

I would add that photos are more representative than numbers alone, context: https://www.boredpanda.com/same-weight-different-size-transformations/

But if to you those numbers are important, so be it.

Personally, I would feel very uncomfortable with a girl I found attractive in photos that is in reality about six feet tall and a spring chicken around 20 y.o. As for not knowing own stats I can understand that. I also live in the LaLa land as have never measured the length of my penis and do not like having pictures of me since i was about 40:D

You know very well that indies that are super tall mention it, and super short too, since it's their singular feature and probably part of their marketing. Besides, as I said previously, I often see those details mentioned on indies' website, so I am not sure what sparked your question.

Giselle that's also a very good point! Reminds me of the convo we had on here about clients who think they know who's lying about their weight just by looking at the picture haha. You can never really know because the same weight looks different on different bodies!

But I just thought of something, I had my measurements mentioned before but I decided to remove those details as I didn't want clients to buy my clothes and lingerie before asking me first; I was gifted so many pieces of clothing I didn't like that I ended up giving away or selling.

I never check the numbers since i come form a metric system country and i'm too lazy to make the conversion between feet and meters :)

I don't measure or weigh myself. I have an approximate number that I put on my website, but I don't personally enjoy sharing those stats. You don't know if what is stated on an agency website is the truth or not. I've had my photos stolen from scam sites, and they always get my measurements, height and weight wrong.. They estimate it from the photos they stole from a platform like tryst, and they always get it wrong. I've had a scam site say I'm 21 years old, 120 lbs and 5'2 and another one say i'm 35 years old, 95 lbs and 5'7 lol......

I don't really get why this information is important, unless there's a huge discrepancy between what you see on photos and in real life. People's weight fluctuates constantly, too. This extreme fear of someone being bigger or older looking or whatever than what they look like on photos can create a negative expectation and cause you to scrutinize the person's body in a way that is really uncomfortable. I also don't think people are good at estimating what someone will look like based on stats. Someone my age with the same weight and height could look completely different from me.

This might be naive but as an indy, even tho I'm aware that I correspond to a ''type'' that clients are looking for, I want to be booked for more than looking exactly like what's expected. When clients book me solely based on looks (and i say SOLELY, because i KNOW this will always be an important factor), I can tell, and it's not always the most fun appointments for me

A picture is worth a thousand words, the only thing thats hard to gauge from a pic is height.

You can just ask for someone's height if that's such a big concern. I often get told ''oh, you are shorter than I thought!'' because I have long legs and often wear heels on photos.. but my stats are on my website. I think asking for someone's weight is kinda rude, but not so much height

If you died and came back as a ghost, would you still work as an SP? If yes, would you increase or decrease your rates? You'd be offering a pretty unique service, but there'd be no touching possible.
I would definitely come back as a ghost SP. I think I'd unfortunately have to decrease my rates because I wouldn't be able to carry cash.
I might also come back as a poltergeist SP (aka a rapergeist), so that I could sexually haunt bad clients.

I think the SP should increase their rates because they could offer a no condom option without any std risk and also greek with no size restriction.
