GRÈCE..yes une météo extrême qui fait des ravages avec des feux de forêt hors de contrôle qui forcent l'évacuation de milliers de résidents.....triste triste à voir.

I feel relieved that I didn't have kids because I can't imagine what they have to deal with in 50 years.
CNN On that topic but a few years ago?!

BirthStrike: Refusing to have kids, because of 'eco crisis'CNN.comhttps://www.cnn.com

"“What kind of harm will a hotter and more painful world inflict on my child? Nobody has the answers for that,”

Twilight zone considering Canada immigration policy.
"Cause they gonna pay taxes into the future"?
Bringing folks to cold climate latitude countries increases per capita carbon output per person.
Heating is more critical to life than air conditioning.
Pray that Hydro Quebec can keep up with the demand.

FLORIDA OCEAN TEMPS HIT 101 DEGREES!

Wow! Did a ship pass by dumping hot water from the cooling system overboard in proximity to ocean temperature sensors on the buoys ?

Maybe not but:

For the majority of the month, an unusual weather pattern for the summer months for the region has been the driving factor.
That pattern has featured a stagnant set-up fueled by a strong area of high pressure that has led to days of above average, and in many cases, record-setting air temperatures."

"Weather pattern"..hmmm
Climate change has some competition now with weather patterns?

No question that China produces the largest amount greenhouse gases in the world. However, on a per capita basis, that dubious distinction belongs to the USA. China has made certain pledges to reduce carbon emissions and to become carbon neutral by mid century. What do you propose be done to get China to move faster?

The message is about the hypocrisy of Team climate change, not China.
I honestly don’t believe China cares one bit about carbon emissions and I don’t blame them with a population of almost 1.5 billion people they need more energy than mostly anyone else.
They are probably building a dozen new coal power plants as we speak.

So you see climate advocate "hypocrisy" as a problem worthy of scorn, do you? I see climate change deniers, inertia, and greed more problematic. The majority of world citizens acknowledge that human activity is overheating the planet and that urgent action is needed. China, like most countries, has announced plans to reach carbon neutrality in the distant future. However we all need to do more, and do it faster, to save the planet. Calling climate change advocates "hypocrites" doesn't help to solve the emergency.

Antonio Guterres/Sec. Gen/ONU.....a dit ce jour/today que nous étions passé de l'ère du réchauffement climatique à l'ère de l'ébullition climatique...wow...but so true....urgence d'agir.

Yes and the end of the world is just around the corner. Good thing I took the grandkids to Disney World this year while Mickey still didn’t have to wear fins.

Your first sentence might come true way before you think.
Not by extreme heat but by starvation due to overpulation, droughts and flooding.

Well we don’t have to go very far to find a interesting case.
As an example of absolute hypocrisy from one of the climate change supreme leaders, our right honorable PM Justin Trudeau is flying non-stop across the globe like it was nobody’s business.
In July 2022, he used his CC-144 Challenger prime ministerial private jet for 20 days, a record breaking in Canadian history.
The estimated fuel quantity burned during that month is over 33 300 litres, an insane amount of A-1 jet fuel.
So for a dude that is lecturing people every day twice on Sunday about carbon footprint and climate change, PM Justin Trudeau is an absolute narcissist hypocrite leading the country using fear and power.

Wait. What? He's the Canadian Prime Minister. Do you expect him to fly commercial? That's ridiculous.

I don’t expect nothing good from that part time drama teacher, but I would expect a climate change guru like Trudeau to control his urges of flying around while leaving record breaking emissions.
