What is wrong with Montreal's power play? Do you guys consider 0-12 acceptable?

The problem is that the referees need to give them an absurd amount of opportunities to fix it, so they gave them 8 tonight while the NYR were awarded 3. What an absolute f'n joke of officiating that was. The NHL and these referees in particular should be ashamed of themselves. Luckily justice did prevail tonight even though the Rangers played 8 on 6 for the entire game.

referees didn't called two hits to the face of Hemelin common... If the blue shirts are indiscipline they should pay for it but the habs dont score in power play.....
no shot for Pacciorety tonight ... Its up to the best players of the habs to stand up and score ... talent is nothing if you don't work.

He does not want a contract to play for the canadians next season anyways. He is going to Minnesota because his wife is from there.

There is no problem to lose a game away in overtime you should have won way before.

The prob is to start the serie @ 0-2 cause you didn't manage to find a solution to a goalie prob before.

The good thing is that the show is great for 2games, and if you're a hockey fan, even if you don't like Montreal, the only thing you wish is a match in 7...

Vanek has indeed been a big zero, while Marty St. Louis, whom the Rangers gave away more for, has been a huge addition for the Rangers, scoring the decisive goal last night. Vanek was a rent-a-player whom the Habs got for nothing in rent, but he has also given them nothing. So in the final analysis the Vanek trade was nothing for nothing, while the St. Louis trade was something for something. Vanek will sign with Minnesota next year to be close to his wife's family, as Iggy mentioned, thus ending a very undistinguished, brief career in Montreal as a rent-a-scorer who did not score.

Vigneault: Therrien is Full of Shit, Bergevin Apologizes to Rangers

http://espn.go.com/new-york/nhl/sto...gers-coach-upset-treatment-montreal-canadiens

Vigneault ripped the Habs for Saturday's slew of incidents, beginning with Habs coach Michel Therrien's decision to throw Rangers assistant coaches Ulf Samuelsson and Jerry Dineen from practice. Afterward, Therrien said there was an implicit understanding between organizations that opposing coaches are not permitted to watch a team's practice on non-game days.

"We were treated very unfairly yesterday," Vigneault said after the team's morning skate at Madison Square Garden. "There is no rule. There was no agreement between both teams. That is the exception, not the rule. I've been asked in the past to do this on a couple of occasions. Usually the coach calls me or the [general manager]. Never happened."

When asked Sunday morning whether such a pact existed, Rangers general manager Glen Sather told ESPNNewYork.com: "Absolutely none."

Sather went on to explain that he received a phone call from Canadiens GM Marc Bergevin Saturday inquiring about this understanding and Sather explained he never agreed to any such thing. Bergevin then apologized to Sather for the misunderstanding.

A lot of whinges from both parts for nothing... All what will stay in the memories about these incidents will be Carcillo punching a linesman, just cause the pictures were quite incredible, rare and almost funny...

Medias just try to keep people interest in this serie which is already 3-1.

1-3, CH has to win the 3last games, that's it. From what he had showed in the last 2games, it's not that impossible and that's probably why Vigneaut seems so nervous even with his 3-1 advantage.

So in the final analysis the Vanek trade was nothing for nothing

Many people are saying this but from what I've seen of Sebastian Collberg he will one day play in the NHL and be an above average player. (especially if he gets to play with Tavares)

In the end the trade helped Montreal go into the playoffs with plenty of momentum and helped Pacioretty have a career year. Unfortunately Vanek never really showed up in the playoffs and may have even hindered the value of his next contract since the Wild will be using the money they were paying Danny Heatley this year. Heatly also didn't like to get too dirty and rarely showed up for playoffs and the Wild couldn't wait to get rid of him.

Definitely, the series is not over. I think Montreal will win game 5 and it will go back to NY for game 6. I could see the series going 7.

As Yogi Berra said " It ain't over til the fat lady sings "

Best Regards

Lundquist out ! Could he be the most over rated goalie ! Can he win a big game !!! By the way Tokarsky can't leave the net and intercepts the puck , can't help the defense and they're getting hammered ... Too young of a goalie but soooo good already

No contest on the ice since CH mentally digested Price incident.

But well Rangers just need 1, so it's almost 50/50 now...

Game 6 in NYC tonight. If the "King" shows up, it's over. Does anyone know if they are showing the game at Le Centre Bell tonight?
