You're incredible Doc, everybody here knows you as a Leaf fan, you wrote thousand of posts about it, and now you give them up for a better team.. Ahahah, what a nerve, I love it ! :thumb:

Sure, i'm a Leafs fan. Leafs fan first. But i also like the Bruins, Rangers & Blackhawks. I loved the Nordiques before they left Quebec. I still have a couple of Nordiques sweaters lying around.

I was a Bruins, Rangers & Blackhawks fan before i ever became a Leafs fan. I was a die-hard Bruins fan during the days of Bobby Orr, Phil Esposito & Gerry Cheevers. A former Bruins coach was a friend of my fathers & one time he invited us into the team bus to meet the likes of Bobby Orr, Phil Esposito & Ken Hodge. I even met a young rookie named Terry O'Reilly once! What a thrill it was! And when i cheered for the Hawks, Tony Esposito, Bobby Hull, Stan Mikita & Keith Magnusson were my favorite players.

In baseball, i was an Expos fan first. But there was also a time when i was a big Oakland Athletics fan during the days of Joe Rudi, Sal Bando & Gene Tenace. The Mustache Gang, they were called. I later became a Red Sox fan....Yaz, Lynn, Petrocelli, Pudge, Dewie Evans & Bernie Carbo. Heck, there was even a time i once cheered for the NY Yankees, led by Billy Martin. I loved Craig Nettles, Thurman Munson & Mickey Rivers. Loved them when they played the Cincinnati Reds, whom i hated. Liked them when Bucky Dent hit that homerun over the Monster in that infamous game against the Red Sox, whom i no longer liked due to the departure of Dick Williams, Bill Lee & Bernie Carbo. I never liked Don Zimmer, so that may be why. He always struck me as being a major league asshole!

Then the Jays came along & i also started cheering for them. When the Expos left baseball, my sole allegiance went to the Jays...probably because i've seen them play in person over a hundred times & that's all they talk about on Rogers Sportsnet.

When the Leafs play the Bruins, i cheer for the Leafs. When the Bruins play the Rangers, i cheer for the Rangers. When the Hawks play the Bruins, i cheer for the Hawks. When the Hawks play the Rangers, it's Rangers.

It's no different that the majority of guys on this website who routinely fuck around on their wives & girlfriends. I believe in free love & don't see a problem with either a woman or man wanting to have a little bit of fun on the side. I also believe that there's nothing wrong with liking or loving more than one person at the same time & i speak from experience. Spread the love, i say!

I love Montreal, but not as much as i love Quebec City. I love Toronto, but not as much as i love Montreal. I love Fridays, but Saturdays are my favorite!

I've met people who have been married once, twice...three times! I've befriended people who never batted an eye when they'd screw behind their wives or boyfriends' backs. It actually made them happier, fullfilled & in some cases it was beneficial to their marriages. I'd even say it saved their marriage! What's wrong with loving more than one person, whether at once or separately? It's no problem in my book, and that's why i apply the same rules when it comes to sports or anything else. I love The Godfather, but i also love The Deer Hunter. I love The Game, but i also love Die Hard. I love '24', but i also love 'The Blacklist' and 'The Following'. Whats' wrong with love??? I love, love, love!!!!! That's all i do, especially i happen to visit Montreal.....I LOVE TO LOVE!!! :thumb:

Go Rangers!!!! Sweep those Habs in four!!! :thumb:

"To like" is not to be a "fan". You said that you suddenly became a "Rangers fan"... Btw, you suddenly "like" 2 of the team that are the big fav to be in Finale... What a coincidence ! ;)

As your real team almost never do playoffs, you just found a way to keep interest in the competition, Doc..

Not my philosophy, Doc. Not my way to find success. Not my way to be happy. But I appreciate your frankness about the way you find them.

No problem. It's your business, not mine. I'm not to judge your choices in life. We all have decisions to make during our lifetimes which lead to shaping up our future....and our lives. And every day we have to live & accept the choices we've made.

Guys,

Now that the Canadiens have shown they CAN beat the Rangers at their home it proves it can be done with a goalie other than Price (the savior) and it eliminates any possible excuse for losing because of the Price injury. FACT: If it can be done once...it can be done again. It's only 1game to 2.

It's despicable! Can't he just play hockey?

Really? The Montreal "Angels" don't do that kind of thing. To play upon a previous hypothetical by Sharkman, what would Habs fan say if the guy who got hit in the face was Prust and the guy doing the hitting was Chara. That's right, have him arrested and charged with assault when he comes to Montreal.

Habs fans and players are all about calling the other team out, even whining to the refs about cheap water bottle squirting crap. But where are all the Habs fans calls for hard justice that went flying against Chara and Kreider. Jaw surgery, OMG! Well Stepan isn't Pacioretty in a Canadiens unform...so no Habs fan cares.

As for bad refs, as Habs fans complain about all the time, the atrocious non-call won the game for Montreal. Surely a deserved major would have been disastrous for the team...if these rotten refs as Habs fans claim had done their job.

 :thumb:

Ahhhh! Yes let's not be hypocrite but thanks Prust to show that the habs can be dirty ;) ... I would like to see also a major against Kreider when he hit Price ! But last night was an ugly win !

Tokarsky was great even if luck was against him in two occasion !
Go habs Go

You're right.

It just took a good goalie, and then you realize that the teams are quite of the same level. But I don't think that Kotarsky is able to repeat his performance. This game shows what would have happened with Price. Let's hope that Kotarsky will continue the same way at least for the quality of the show...

4th game will be decisive as often...
