Agree Sol, not the good place. But if you imagine these officials, all in Ontario, seing this video who clearly shows the player actually scored a soccer goal, and finally decided to validate it for the Ontario team.... Well... Hard to believe this factor wasnt one of the reasons of this incredible decision...

Anyway, 3-1, next game... Like Serge BLanco said about the weird referees' decision favoring UK teams during 6 Nations Tournament, "if you want to play among them, you have to stop crying, accept the injustice and be stronger..."

After all the injured from last game ?
Habs are too classy tonight !

I would have come out tonight and just slap Sens in the face with high sticking and real dirty cheap shots.

This is what people wants to see ? then lets give it to them ! and the hell with all these fat old retards who can only get excited by enjoying to see blood since they can cum twice in a row, anymore !
Let alone once !

I would constantly target their goalie by slashing and making them pay a high PRICE just to move on the next round and get kicked out from the playoffs by having too many injured players.

F*ck hockey now ! It's not even about making good plays and team work anymore !

It's clearly rigged to get players injured and give this kind of exemple to our kids.

Bunch of a$$holes !

...sounds like an english far-right slogan....

He'll maybe see his team win the cup once in what's left of his life but he'll surely never see more... and this is the hard truth for them Habs haters who calls a clean shot when a guy is down with his face in his blood !

It was total bullshit to get only 2 games suspension.
This is not Hockey anymore and I'm sick of it.

For these people who cry out when kids gets gunned down are hypocrites when it comes to accept this much violence live for everyone to see (including kids).

I saw some kids getting really sad to see Eller like that.
And the fear in their eyes was the same as seeing the kind of violence we see from guns, war and terrorism.

So lets have them 'clean shots' for the remaining of the playoffs, and show us your expertise in Hockey when players gets injured that bad !

This is not hockey, this is NHL...

You're right, this serie was a shame for NHL, but let say the true, Canadiens didn't have any goalies and was too weak physically and psychologically to hope anything in playoffs... We can see great teams in money time... They arent a great team...

Congratulation to Senators. I wish the best to the last canadian team...

The only way to go further than Montreal is to go to next round, hope you will... 2 others miracles plse !

We should merge Canadiens and Leafs, we would have the perfect team : quality of game + great fans / chance + goalie !

Huummmm... One of the worst idea ever...

To me Montreal has been the biggest disappointment in the playoffs. They were being badly outplayed even before the injuries to Eller and Price happened. Price had looked sloppy in goal. I think Price has been a disappointment in his career so far. Although he is a solid goalie, let's be honest here, the Montreal organization was expecting more than solid. However, Montreal's core group of players, except for Markov, are very young, and there is hope for the future.

I've looked at the videos 20-30 times because it's hard to see the hit in good detail. Yes, it's a head shot with a lot of blood because of a broken nose, but it seems to happen more because of the timing of the pass and Eller not having a good angle of sight on Grbya. Grbya does thrust his shoulder and arm, but as the commentator describes it's a "suicide pass". I agree the blood looks horrible and you can say Grbya did use his shoulder and arm on the head, but if you are basing you comments on the blood from a hard shot to the nose this is what happens when two padded men collide at speed and the nose is a big part of that hit.

fa·nat·ic

Noun
A person filled with excessive and single-minded zeal, esp. for an extreme religious or political cause.
Adjective
Filled with or expressing excessive zeal.
Synonyms
noun. zealot - bigot
adjective. fanatical - rabid - bigoted - phrenetic - frenetic

Being a fanatic is about rabid bias and losing realistic perspective, making it hurt so much more when the team gets it's ass royally kicked. Anyone who feels it's proper to compare this hit with the Newtown shootings or Boston bombing is a fanatic out of control.

I've always been one of the few on this board who said there should be harsher penalties for big hits, while others have insisted it's part of hockey. I'm not sure what you said at the time but your post below shows you need to look long and hard in the mirror.

So we're the ones who condone violence. NOT so gentle.

I've given the Habs kudos for their achievements this year, even when defeating the Bruins. But I have to say you and man77777 have been a bit nuts throwing in everything from Anglophobia to ridiculous comparisons of a bloody hockey injury with the mass slaughter of children. Not "classy". If you guys are like this against the Sens I'd hate to see how far it would go playing the Leafs. You guys should stay away from hockey if it's this emotionally painful for you.

As for the Bruins, the Leafs did a great job holding on in Boston last night.

Cheers,

Merlot

Look behind you.
Bet that the Habs management are kicking themselves for keeping the wrong goalie. The goalie is the key player on any team, do not care about superstar forwards can do without those but you can not do without a great goalie. Look at the Flames when they were good, so so team with an excellent goalie. Reimer was the key for TO winning. It would be nice to see TO win but I do not think it will happen. Now if only the Oilers would trade for a #1 goalie my world would be in sync.

This is the way men talk about sport, Merlot. Emotion is what sport is about. We all exchange some jokes and some words we dont really think just after the game, when emotion is at his top...

THey call us "scabs", we answer that the officials are too eglishspeaker to be fair with frenchspeaker... But nobody thinks a word of what he says.

Fan in sport = just emotion = put our brains off for 2h/weeks and thats fking good when you work as much as we all do...

Don't you remember that I prefer another type of SOG?... So, to answer your question, I was preparing my 3rd encounter with Jade, which took place on Friday. She sure doesn't have the body or the habilities to be a goalkeeper but she sure is a keeper. Like you posted yourself, she plays very well. ...;)

Ha ha yeah right ! and Elvis is still alive !

Anyone who's really against violence anyway, would have move out from the US a long time ago. !
How's that for a mirror ?
