Where I belong.
I can only picture Joe's bookie walking away from him counting 100's in the air.
Joe's bookie never walks. Joe's bookie counts his (or what was once Joe's) 100s from the back seat of his chauffeur driven E-Class Mercedes. He's even given his Mercedes a name; he calls it "Joe.T is my Hero."

I couldn't believe your picks when i saw them. Actually, i can't really figure out your reasoning on some of them. Buffalo over KC? I'm a Bills fan, but no way Buffalo doesn't get blown away by KC. Jets over Pittsburgh? Are you kidding me? I can't see San Fran beating New Orleans in New Orleans. Same thing with Miami over Detroit in Detroit. SF hasn't played well lately. Sure, Miami has played very well, but so has Detroit and they have a great defence.

I guess i won't comment on your 'sure shot pick of the week'. ;)

p.s. But to be honest, i had also picked Cincy to beat Cleveland. But i wouldn't have called it a 'sure shot'.

He must also be a habs fan.

Now's the time to head to the closest lottery ticket outlet and place a bet for Detroit, KC, Pittsburgh and New Orleans. Too bad the Cleveland game was last night, but the payout should be a good oen! ;)

With all his blown calls, especially those championship game "guarantees", guess who the chauffeur is. :D

It's called a GUARANTEE! I doubt her learned any lesson. I guarantee he'll pick the Patriots to get killed by...insert name, it doesn't matter who.

I said the Bengals were a sham and Cleveland was a decent team.

What the bloody hell happened to Pittsburgh against such a lousy Jets team? I mean I never bought into them being great this year whether Roethlisberger throws 12 TDs in 2 games or not. But getting run over by the Jets has to be one of the great upsets of the year, unless Oakland gets a miracle against Denver which is currently losing to the Raiders. Maybe the Patriots slapped such a big stank on the Broncos they may not be able to come out of it. But losing to the peeeeuuuuu Raiders would be a truly humiliating embarrassment.

Cheers,

Hello Joe,

Welcome back to you too, my buddy.

How about your team the Raiders. I'm shocked to see you didn't pick them this week. They are doing very well. I guarantee you they will hold those Broncos under 60, because they are tough, and I respect them. All the best buddy. The drinks are on me at the next GT.

Manning throws 5 TDs, Broncos lead 41-10 in 3rd quarter

KUSA-It's not the way Denver (6-2) wanted to start in Oakland (0-8). Two interceptions by Peyton Manning helped the Raiders score all 10 of their first half points. However, Manning and the Broncos offense would find their grove in the 2nd quarter to give Denver a 20-10 lead at halftime.

C.J. Anderson shined in the first half in his Bay Area homecoming. The former Cal Bear scored his first touchdown of the season on a short dump off from Manning that he turned into a 51-yard scoring play, after breaking three tackles and eluding multiple Raiders defenders.

Manning then found Emmanuel Sanders streaking down the sideline for a 32-yard scoring strike, extending Manning's NFL best streak with consecutive games with at least two passing touchdowns to 15.

The five-time MVP has also thrown at least one touchdown pass in 48 consecutive games, chasing Drew Brees's all-time record of 54 games.

3rd Quarter Recap:

Malik Jackson forced a fumble deep in the Oakland zone on the third play of the second half. Denver would take over at the Raiders 18-yard line, before Manning found Julius Thomas for the Broncos third touchdown of the game. The catch for Thomas is his 11th TD grab of the season, which leads the NFL.

The Denver defense would force their 6th three-and-out on Oakland's next possession. The Raiders have amassed only 93 yards of total offense (77 passing, 16 receiving) with 11:30 remaining in the 3rd quarter.

Manning would throw his 4th touchdown pass of the game on a 4th and 1 that would end up as a 32-yard score to J. Thomas for their second six-point connection of the afternoon. J. Thomas extends his NFL best receiving touchdown count to 12 through nine games this year.

T.J. Ward picked off Carr on the Raiders next possession. The take-away was the first for Ward as a Bronco.

Manning would find Sanders for the second time on the afternoon on the Broncos next possession, moving his total to 5 touchdown passes in the game.

1st Half Broncos Quick Stats:

P. Manning 20/32, 209 yards, 2 TDs, 2INTs

C. Anderson-5 carries, 52 yards, 3 catches, 71 yards, receiving TD

D. Thomas- 6 catches, 59 yards

E. Sanders- 3 catches, 46 yards, TD

1st Half Raiders Quick Stats:

D. Carr-15/23, 71 yards, TD, INT

J. Jones- 5 catches, 19 yards

B. Butler- 2 catches, 12 yards, TD

2nd Quarter Recap:

Brandon McManus would add his second field goal of the afternoon, this time from 28 yards to give the Broncos a 6-3 lead after their 3rd possession.

Denver's defense would force a second consecutive three-and-out on Oakland's ensuing possession, however Manning would be picked off for the second time of the game. Justin Tuck deflected the pass then caught it in one of the most athletic moves of the season.

Derek Carr would find Bryce Butler from five yards out for the games first touchdown to give the Raiders a 10-6 lead with 11:19 remaining in the second quarter.

Oakland has scored all of their 10 points off of Broncos turnovers.

Denver's offense continued to struggle on their 5th possession of the game and were forced to punt for the first time in the contest.

The two teams then would trade punts yet again, before Bradley Roby picked off Derrick Carr with just under four minutes remaining in the half. Denver would take over at Oakland's 40-yard line.

On third and long, Manning would dump the ball short to C.J. Anderson and the former Cal running back would go 51 yards for his first touchdown of the season.

The scoring pass for Manning now gives him 48 consecutive games with a touchdown pass which moves him past Johnny Unitas for the third best streak all-time, chasing Drew Brees's record of 54 consecutive games.

Denver's defense would force yet another three-and-out on Oakland's subsequent possession.

Manning then would finally look like the Peyton Denver has come to know and love. He threw a perfect ball to Emmanuel Sanders, connecting for their 6th TD link-up this season, moving Manning to 517 all-time for his career.

The touchdown pass also gave Manning his 15th consecutive game with at least 2 touchdown passes, an NFL record.

Denver would force their fifth three-and-out on Oakland's following possession with the first half ending with a Raiders punt.

1st Quarter Recap:

After finding Julius Thomas for 10 yards on the first play from scrimmage, Peyton Manning was picked off by D. J. Hayden on a pass intended for Emmanuel Sanders. The Raiders used the take away and turned it into points, courtesy of a Sebastian Janikowski 41-yard field goal.

The Broncos would march 73 yards on 12 plays on their second possession of the game, however Damaryius Thomas was stopped short of the end zone on 3rd and Goal and Denver would have to settle for a 20-yard field goal to tie the game at 3.

Denver would force a three-and-out on Oakland's next possession.

Great game. You should have had faith.

BOYZ,

Granted Peyton Manning gets a lots of accolades from football fans and the press for all his records, he is 1-2 in Super Bowls...and he was blown out in the two Super Bowl losses!

I don't think I would consider him as a money player especially given his less than impressive record in the playoffs, where it counts most.

True, but he's still one of the best ever. Peyton has had the benefit of the Indy Dome, the consistent presence of extremely talented receivers, unlike many including Brady who has mostly had to deal with a philosophy of getting the best you can with what you've got. But even the greatest quarterbacks can be exposed by opposition leadership that understands the weaknesses of a quarterback and his team and has the talent and game understanding to exploit that, hence the Giants beat the Patriots twice. A lot of experts put Joe Montana at the top. But go and look at the support he had on that team with a very good defense and a superstar likes of Jerry Rice, along with Dwight Clarke. Damn they had Deion Sanders and Richard Dent in 1994. The same with Bradshaw, and Staubach. Geeeeezuzz, how many Hall of Famers did those guys have on their teams. Its' mind-boggling.

Peyton sure can blow up stats, but his record is proof it's a complete team and a little luck that counts. He gets enough blame for losing the big game but not nearly all.

Speaking of Manning, how did those Giants do today? Hmmmm, lost 38 to 17 and 24 unanswered points.

Cheers,

Merlot

Hey, that is one win closer to the playoffs mon ami and that is all that matters, besides Dallas beat the defending champion Seahawks when nobody thought possibe earlier in the year and with Romo they are a very good team, w/o him, meh not as much.

In the Cowboys Dynasty Years they had 3 great players at 3 key positions: Aikman/Irvin/Smith at QB/WR/RB....... strangely they have 3 VERY similiar players today in Romo/Bryant/Murray and a great O-line like the glory days... anything can happen if key injurues do not occur.

My oh my how i would love a Cowboys vs NE superbowl matchup :eyebrows:
Start planning the parade...LMAO!! A win against the worst team in the league!! Wooohooo!!! Party time!!!! LOL.

Buffalo +5 over Miami.

Cleveland -3.5 over Houston.

My Raiders who always play the Chargers tough +10 over San Diego.

Detroit -2 over Arizona.

My sure shot pick of the week is Indy who are led by the leading MVP candidate so far this year(Luck) over the extremely lucky and overrated Patriots, believe it or not Indy is favored -2.5, New England doesn't stand a chance in hell, I'm expecting a route.

That's hilarious.   No wonder Joe hates Gisele so much. :eyebrows:

Please show me where you're getting the -2.5 line, oh please show me! Lol.

It's called...the I'm tired of being humiliated by the Patriots so I'll make something up Line. The Patriots v Colts should be the most interesting game of the week hype wise. Rising star with great potential versus the guy he would die to be as good as. If the Patriots play like they did in their last two games they should win by a minimum of 10. But as we know it's about how teams match up, and still the Patriots slammed the Broncos who everyone thought matched up pretty damn well and were considered superior by many, like good old "they're over-achievers" Beav, until the massacre started. But the Colts do have that sissy dome going for them...and Joe's "guarantee" BWAHAHAHA!!!

Now don't count on my good buddy showing any proof of that line...unless he dug it up somewhere in a Korean blog or something.

Cheers,

Merlot

Here you go boys, you will notice that all of the Sportsbooks in Vegas have the Colts as favorites, nobody has the the Patriots as favorites, the only disagreement that I have with the Vegas odds is that I don't think that it will be even close, I think that the Colts will run away and win by double digits, the only chance that the Patriots have is if anon_vlad picks the Colts as one of his lock picks.
