Fenceboy Joey...after 5 years of saying how awesome your Ottawa sportsbook was and that's the only one that you use, you're now switching over to Vegas? Hahahaha...

Let me guess you couldn't find an Ottawa / Canadian line to give you the - 2.5 instead of the -3? Methinks that's the answer. ;) Take the majority of every other sportsline posted on your Vegas site and use the -3.

BOYZ,

And since Joe.t is going with the Colts, I am picking the Pats on the road to win their sixth straight game!

I see my good buddy Joe.t is already 1-3 in 4 games even though he did all he could to find the biggest margins by switching from Ottawa to Vegas. Fence sitters strategy doesn't work either buddy.

A lot of analysts believe that If you get out in front of Indy and they need to come from behind they don't have the pass rush capabilities to hold back the opponents enough to catch up. Most of their sacks or hurries have come against poor teams, and once a team gets ahead by a decent amount it's believed Indy will not be able to use their strengths on offense well. The Patriots of course have steam-rolled opponents very good opponents in their last two games. So Indy must keep it tight to have a chance.

Cheers,

Merlot

The Pats are firing on all cylinders right now and they should win tonight as the Colts have the worst defense in the NFL against the pass...dead last!

The Colts will need turnovers and a running game to win...home field advantage alone will not do it for the Colts!

The Pats will be firing duds tonight, the Colts will expose this team for the overrated fraud that they are, I would change this pick if I were you, especially if you have money riding on it.

Joe. Can I ask why you bother with explanation that doesn't matter to you. Everyone knows you'd pick a team of 3-legged Chihuahuas against the Patriots.

I've heard the Colts defense was not very good, but I hadn't heard they were last against the pass though I had seen the results of the Pittsburgh game. With Gronkowski now gotten comfortable playing and gotten his confidence back he creates an impossible one-on-one match-up that opens the field for everyone else and the team already has some very decent receivers that are fine on their own. Luck is very good and learning, but prolific passers alone are not enough. Look at what happened to Peyton today. Nearly 400 yards and the Broncos still lost by 15. They barely got 7 points.

The team I'm watching is carefully is Miami. They may not be a powerhouse team but they have seemed to become pretty darn solid. I'm not sure how their defense and offense stack up against others, but they do seem like they have enough there to be concerned and not just say you're concerned to avoid billboard material.

Cheers,

Merlot

Should be a great matchup tonight between the Patriots and the Colts. This one is a toss up!

And since Joe.t is going with the Colts, I am picking the Pats on the road to win their sixth straight game!

I see it hasn't taken Sharkman long to figure out Joe's losing strategies! Hahaha. That's fantastic.

I gotta hand it to Joe. Any time you pick a football game, there's a 50/50 chance of being right. For Joe to get four out of five wrong is really quite an accomplishment. On behalf of Joe's bookie, who is currently busy in his cellar counting Joe's money, let me be the first to congratulate Joe on his effort.

Just waiting now for Joe's lover to show up here and boast about all the money he made on the picks Joe didn't share with the public. Now that's an easy prediction.

What with my young SB busy with mid-terms, I actually watched the game last night. More than once the announcers referred to the Pats as the cream of football's crop.

Joe.t I can offer you some betting advice for real cheap.
In fact, the first advice I would give you, a freebie, is take Mass Route 1 and take the Gillette Stadium exit and go see a Pats game...perhaps you can appreciate how well oiled this team is and how well coached it is...and perhaps it will remove any prejudice you may have against the Pats!

They keep doing it year after year with a bunch of no names...it's unreal! I still don't who is that running back that started for the Pats last night.

That would be Jonas Gray, UNDRAFTED out of ND, picked up by the Dolphins, Ravens and finally the Pats in Jan. 2014. Didn't make the squad originally but was signed to the practice squad after final cuts. Came up against the Jets and has been in BEAST MODE ever since! Watch this guy.

Sharkman, you are trying to use logic where it does not exist. It not about his inability to understand what makes a great team, Though he can't. It's not about his incredible superficial addiction to flashy players. It's about jealousy...with a lot of heavy bitterness about the Tuck Rule game on a cal that should never have been made and wasn't influenced by the Patriots in any way at all. He's mad the refs stole the game and he can't get over it so he blames the Patriots with everything he came imagine. The fact that the Patriots have had 14 straight winning seasons, and just guaranteed at least another .500 one last night gets deep under his skin. Don't bother to to talk sense.

So now the Patriots have beat the crap out of two teams thought to be two of the current contenders, and they scored over 40 points each time. But it was amazing how they did it, nothing like how anyone thought it would go. Brady was EH okay. The Patriots pounded the ball right at the heart of the Colts defense and dared them to do anything to stop New England. They did it with a stellar performance by a formerly very questionable and sometimes poor offensive line using a running bag who had been a forgotten trash heap throw away. The Patriots also play their own solid defense giving up only 19 yards for the game, smothering the Colts runners unconscious. The Colts Fleener got good yards but everyone else was stuffed and Fleener couldn't possibly provide enough alone. Brady threw 2 interceptions, very unusual for him, and still led the team to a 22 point victory.

That's what the Patriots have over every other team. Adjusting the game plan effectively against the weaknesses of the opponent and have the skill to make it work. THAT is terrific leadership and coaching. As Sharkman said: That's "how well oiled this team is and how well coached it is". NONE of that matters to Joe, because it's all about hate to the boy. Next week it will be his same guarantees and the odds are stacked that it will be the same humiliation. Joe must be learning to love that...he's had so much of it.

Your bookie says MANY MANY THANKS...but no more power washing the car. Do it by hand with love and affection. :D

BTW: anybody heard from Eager "they're overachieving" Beaver??? Does Eli know which team he's supposed to throw to? :eyebrows:

Cheers,

Buffalo Bills ask fans to help out with snow clearing. Offering $10/hour plus a free ticket to a game. Reason: record snowfall in Buffalo & 4 feet of snow to clear out. It usually takes 3 days to clear out 1 foot of snow.

That's some of the most F*CKING HILARIOUS stuff I've ever read...even for Joe.t. One team playing two games the same day and Joe trying to use his 100% FAILED reverse the curse trick again. That's some damn fine weed you're using there Joe. He must really be hating washing and polishing his bookie's luxury Mercedes every week...in between walking the poodles for a gang pee. OMG it's so darn funny. Hey Joe, how many home runs has Peyton Manning hit this year???

nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't worry, it doesn't work when he doesn't believe in it.

Thanks for the laughs boy.

It's called being "objective" Merlie, you should try it one day instead of being partisan towards anything having to do with Massachusetts because history shows that you do not have an objective bone in your entire body.

BOYZ,

...instead of being partisan towards anything...

As in you hate everything New England. How many times have you made dirty personal attacks against the people of the region, and picked everyone against the best team in the last 14 years mr. automaton.

Anyway, forget all of that. I'd like to use your football expertise for advice on picking games for this weekend. Could you help me with:

1. Detroit v Green Bay.

2. Detroit v St Louis.

3. Detroit v Detroit.

That last one is very tough and tricky. I hear they match up very closely. BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Okay, let's pick some real games:

New England -7 over Detroit (the Lions have a tough defensive line, not much else).

Green Bay - 9.5 over Minnesota (Rogers against who?)

Dallas -3.5 over the awful Giants (Giants seem to be in a death spiral)

Denver -7 over Miami (real test of legitimacy for both, but Peyton should bounce back big)

KC -7 over pitiful Oakland (stop Jamaal Charles and stop the Chiefs. But the Raiders...pfffssssst)

You rock Joe,

Merlot

One more to go.....but since the game will be played indoors in Detroit, i'm no longer certain that the Bills will cover.

WOW! Things are really getting to you. You're as objective as a Tea Party discussion on President Obama.

KC -6, -25% (line from betfair) tonight

It is possible that the stiffer and I both win.

Now you see what happens when you go with Joe.

nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By the way, Detroit isn't playing both Oakland & NE.

See, as I told you the Curse of Joe.t doesn't work when he doesn't believe in his pick. But it is hilarious to see him try it. Or he finally got tired of having the Patriots beat his butt to death...after almost 14 years. Yup, it takes some people that long to learn.

...I am glad I was able to convince you..

Joe throwing in his lot with Merlot and Sharkman. :faint: Watch out for the universe ripping apart. So much for Joe's preseason Super Bowl picks Detroit v Denver. The Patriots clobbered both. :D

Tom TERRIFIC Brady had one interception and the Patriots still dominated the Lions. Yeah Joe, this is the only game Detroit is playing today. ;) Though the Lions defense was supposed to be fearsome it was the Patriots who shut them down and had their way with the Lions for most of the game. The team has been firing on all cylinders, and with the Gronkowski factor everybody gets better because there's no secondary in the history of football that can cover a healthy Gronk one-on-one. And, even though their was much of a rushing game from the Patriots today I was glad to see Lagarette Blount back with the team. He may not be a standout back but I like the way he can hit the openings solidly.

Next week, the Packers at Green Bay. This will be the toughest game since the last loss. Sharkman, watch how our buddy goes back to his old ways against New England. Guaranteed.

Hey Joe, the Raiders won a game. Hooooraaaay!!! :thumb:

Cheers,

Merlot
