Vegas has not lost a game in regulation and San Jose not won a game in regulation. In 11 games, San Jose has a -43 goal differential. This means the Sharks are getting beat by 4 goals a game on average. There is a blood in the water in San Jose, but it is shark blood, not their victims.

There is no bite in those Sharks- time to change the team name to San Jose Armadillos. Armadillos have no teeth LOL.

Gaby- the 11 straight losses and -43 goal differential are NHL records. This is going back to before the NHL draft when teams could hoard talent.

I wonder if the Sharks Coach is feeling the heat?

Honestly the Knights phenomenon is hard to explain for me. They don’t have a single superstar, not even a simple goal scorer/sniper type of player and none of their goalies belong to the top 10. Go figure.

I agree, they seem like a team of overachievers. But they seem to have some guys who are 2 way players, if not pure goal scorers. And you can win with guys like that.

Again CANUCKS 6 OILERS 2......with 2-8-1....worst/catastrophic start/history for EDM....incredible....and with 9-2-1 the best/historic start for VAN.....none would have predicted that.....

Reasons provided below:
(1) Big drop off in Edmonton PP
(2) Weak performance by both Edmonton Goalies
(3) McDavid playing hurt and is ineffective.

Yes teams like Edmonton, Calgary & Ottawa have struggled & Tampa is winless in overtime 11 times in a row. But easily the worse team in hockey are the San Jose Sharks & i’m starting to wonder if they’ll be able to win 10 games this year! Some experts are beginning to think that Darryl Sittler’s record for the most points (10) in a game might be broken this season by a player playing against the Sharks! They’re absolutely awful!

By the way Auston Matthews now has 13 goals in 12 games! Wow!

Sharks Win, Avoid Outright NHL Record Worst Start, Despite Being Outshot 39-19
Sharks will have to settle for tying the pre-NHL Draft all time record.

I watched the game. The Oilers absolutely dominated the Sharks & badly outshot them. However they were once again victims of questionable goaltending. And Mackenzie Blackwood was absolutely fantastic for the Sharks & the reason why they stole the game.

Oups...EDM....WOODCROFT paid the bill.....fired today as head coach....not a surprise the way OILERS are playing....as always easier to get rid of the coach when things are not going well.....was previsible...

True. But since the fine is only $5000 why not? Until the league & the NHLPA keep on agreeing to silly small fines players are going to keep on cheap-shotting.
Of course they will keep on going with dirty plays and such. That and the random uneven referring is what makes the NHL the less credible professional sport of all sports. It’s unfortunate because, imho, it’s the most interesting and exciting sport to watch.
