BOYZ,
Nailed yourself perfectly. :thumb:
You're right about that. The one's looking for any excuse to use to pull the race card out. So this has never happened to a White player? Because it's Subban it has to be because he's Black, not because he's a pain in the but and top rival? Really, what is anyone allowed to do where the race card won't come out? Can we give him a hard check, steal the puck, block a shot, is the goalie allowed to stop him from scoring or will Tuukka be called a racist for stopping PK's shot??? Puuuuuleeeeeaaasseee Doc, it was water on the mask and jersey. It was a stupid kid's prank and an unsportsmanlike infraction that got addressed.
I'm shocked. An all-Canadian panel thought Thronton should be suspended. I never dreamed that would happen.
PK totally embarrassed himself with the first attempted throw by falling on his own face. Right after he got back up he hit Marchand one shot to the head then either missed badly or went for body shots, when he wasn't trying to pull Marchand off his feet or the jersey over his head. Marchand landed 5 clear shots to the head, 2 were on the chin or mouth and one in the face.
Because Doc is right about him. He declines fights or runs from strong challengers, taking on only guys he thinks he has a clear advantage against...and still got nailed by Marchand.
Main Event:
The Bruins played a strong steady game unlike the first 3 where they always found themselves fighting from behind to catch up. The Canadiens needed a 6 on 4 late in the game to keep it from looking like a rout, and yet the Bruins never really looked like they were trouble. Game 6 should be a rough and tumble burner with Montreal in desperation mode, and we know the fans at the Bell Centre will be going bonkers for the slightest infraction they see...no doubt trying to add a few made up ones too.
Cheers,
Merlot
