The companion who I have been seeing on a regular basis for the past three years has stopped responding to my messages. I am not sure why, I never pushed any boundaries and always kept things cordial and professional between us. It is getting to me more than I expected. I think I will take a sabbatical from this hobby for a while. How do you people deal with situations like this?

It happens to me several times. Sometimes a girl can radically cutoff from the scene for any reason and that's all right.
The first time I took it bad like as if my GF gone away...
Thing is I don't even feel about her that way. It just sucks that it had to stop abruptly and I am left guessing if I did anything wrong.
Do you have proof that she is still active as a companion? (I.e. posting ads, active on social media).
You probably didn’t and even if you did she should at least give you the reason and an opportunity to explain.
You need to think about it a different way. That is if something bad didn’t happen to her but usually there is a slim chance of that.
If she didn’t care enough about you to at least say good by and give you closure then it is obvious you didn’t mean much more to her than the regular $$$. in which case you are probably better off than getting even further attached to her.
Many SP deal with a lot of emotional issues and it is quite frequent that they just decide to quit and disappear without a hint.
It must be such a draining and difficult profession to keep your head straight in.

I believe you, I have been seeing my ATF for 6 and she looks as amazing as the first time I saw her,
100? lol, I don't think I'm rich enough for that. I do not think it is an attachment issue per se, more of wondering where it went wrong. She has not retired, which is why I keep thinking if I did anything wrong for her to stop seeing me.
If she doesn’t think enough of you to tell you and let you explain ( because I am sure you have reached out to her )then you weren’t that close and for her it was just about the $$$.
Some get spooked because they think your falling in love with them and they don’t want any close involvement.

I am low volume. I do not think I am wealthy enough to seek companions on a monthly basis, let alone weekly. I referred to her as my regular because of the past 15 meetings I have had, 14 were with her.
With all due respect I hope you've realized by now that you're a special case.
Once every 4 months she is not exactly going to pull out all the stops to hang onto you.
If she doesn’t respond to you it is time to move on it is not that you can’t live without her if you see her once every 4 months.
I am sure there are plenty more that are just as gorgeous and will be happy to see you.
